@Evil Rick - Man it's been a while since I saw Planet Hulk, so I'm not familiar with Brock (was it in the show?). However, it isn't it. The creature is just a normal Brood warrior from the X-Men universe and one of my favorite race of villains.

Well yeah, Brock is a Brood warrior from the Planet Hulk and World War Hulk comic sagas (why she wasn't included in the animated movie of Planet Hulk, I don't know)

Heh, I almost forgot I had this thread.

Haven't been doing too much besides sketches recently (and about once a week at that). Don't think I've done an anime style or character since the Nanoha one for Evil Rick.

Mine as well keep up the tradition of non-anime works.

Three hour pencil sketch done at a friends place. It's unfinished, but I do like how the re-design of Psylocke's costume came out.

Interesting effects, although try not making it symmetrical next time.

@Godlike - I'll try, but there is very little time left over after my anime and video game habits are satiated for the day (which is rare).

@Rennir - Yep. I drew, inked, and colored her. Effects were done with a pattern brush (I'm such a cheater).

@Mittwoch - Glad you liked the Psylocke one. She's my favorite character. I've always liked doing character design stuff since my old High School days playing pen and paper RPGs. I haven't tried doing actual pages that often as it's a completely different mindset because you have to tell a story and make it readable for the reader. So it's more work (and I'm genetically lazy).

Thanks again for commenting, it's greatly appreciated.

The Jam one looks kinda frightening as in I wouldn't want to meet her on a dark alley tbh, but the next generation poster looks absolutely amazing and I congratulate you on that!
