If you are following the US release of the manga, they are currently up to Vol 16 and are still a couple volumes away from the end of the Mahrofest arc. Most of the discussion in this thread is following the scanlations of the current Japanese releases and is up to Volume 21 of the manga and well into the next story arc.

I'll recommend reading the scanlations, since they're much faster~
Even though I'm up-to-date with the manga chapters, I still find myself forgetting some of the girls' names at times. ><

No, that's Asuna's hand all the way - look at how it's joined at the elbow. I'm pretty sure the idea was to convey how she's rubbing it up Setsuna's wing.

Asuna and Setsuna sent Negi a message - they're all right, and they're searching for "KK" - no need to expand on who that is, right?

Setsuna is bathing under a waterfall (with her wings out) when Asuna surprise-attacks her. Asuna has just gained the upper hand when Setsuna shows off another use for her wings - she bats Asuna away with one of them. Setsuna compliments Asuna, but Asuna complains that it was no good at all and that wings are unfair.

The conversation turns from Setsuna's wings to Konoka, and Setsuna reacts... well, as always, really. Cute as ever. As Asuna steps into the waterfall to shower, though, we cut to an onlooker... Tsukuyomi. She thinks to herself that her sempai and "the princess" look very tasty indeed...

So basically, outside of the revelation of Asuna and Setsuna being together and Tsukuyomi's appearance at the end, this chapter is basically a fanservice chapter where nothing happens.

Also, judging from the ending and Ken's notes, it looks like the next chapter will continue where this one has left off, so it looks like next week's won't have Nodoka as well (COME ON KEN, SHOW US WHAT'S GOING ON WITH HER ALREADY!!! THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS, AND THERE'S ONLY ABOUT FOUR CHAPTERS LEFT IN THE VOLUME, WITH NODOKA BEING ONE OF THE "MUST INCLUDE" GIRLS IN EACH VOLUME!!! ).

So, anyone else thinking that Fate's group has split up and are targeting the White Wing members (Tsukuyomi for Asuna and Setsuna; the tough guy for Ku Fei and Kaede; the "gatepost destroyer" for Anya and the members of the Library Exploration Club) ?

Bummer, I'd have hoped at least some plotworthy things happened in this one. I disagree on your 'switch to Nodoka' dem- erm... opinion. I'd rather they stay focussed on Asuna a bit longer and actually start answering some of the damn questions regarding her past instead of creating a ton more.

The bit about Fate's plan sounds failry accurate. Makes me wonder who will come to Asuna/Setsuna's rescue.[/quote]

I disagree on focusing on Asuna a little bit longer than one or two more chapters for two reasons:

1. The obvious "we want to know what's up with the other girls" reason Admit it, I'm not the only one who is sick and tired of waiting for his favorite character to appear in a story that is being ruined by unneeded fanservice (the recent chapter, the "Wind up Chachamaru" bit) and characters that should not even be there (i.e. Ako), and you'd like to know her status before the volume comes to an end.

2. The mystery of Asuna's past is supposed to be one of the LAST things to be resolved in the story (according to Ken), so I don't expect that much to be answered in a possible showdown between Asuna/Setsuna and Tsukuyomi. Besides, we'll probably get some answers before this arc ends.

Yes, but Tenjo Tenge was published in the US by a totally different publisher (CMX) and Tenjo Tenge was particularly infamous for the heavy editing of "mature material" in the US release. Del Rey on the other hand seems to be fairly dedicated to releasing their manga uncensored , and certianly there has not been any particular uproar about anything being censored in Negima! to date.
