I just watched this series a few days ago and I got this message from some other website. I thought it might answer (or raise?) some questions here:

I think that hitsumi does love hitsuki and that’s why she writes those letters. This is the case that both girls love each other but they are afraid of expressing their feelings because of the possibility of rejection, I presume. We can clearly see this fear in hitsumi’s letter, “No matter how much I think about you this is a kind of love that can't be realized.” The evidence that hitsumi loves hitsuki is in the letter (or is that email?) when she asks hitsuki out to see a movie. We see that actually, hitsuki already asked hitsumi out (amusement park or something) for that Sunday but hitsumi already had a plan (She just smiled and hitsuki said, “oh, you are booked already?”) On that day, hitsumi is all dressed up, looking great, as a matter of fact, so lovely that even hitsuki is asking if she is going out with a guy. Then we see that hitsumi actually goes to see the movie she mentioned in the letter ALONE. I mean, she just put on all the pretty clothes and go to see a movie alone? Of course not! I think that she is expecting “someone” to join her and that would be hitsuki because she asked hitsuki out in that letter only hitsuki doesn’t know that hitsumi is the girl who writes those letters so that hitsuki didn't go. I think hitsumi wants hitsuki to find out that she is the unknown girl; that way hitsuki will understand how she really feels about her. Unfortunately, because hitsuki only has her eye on hitsumi and really is not paying attention to others so that she never even replied those letters, not mention go out with the girl in the letter. That’s why hitsumi ends up seeing the movie alone and hitsuki still doesn’t know her true feelings toward her. Hitsumi did not have to go that far (and even ended up seeing a movie all by herself) if she doesn’t love hitsuki.
By the way, they are not sisters. That’s just the way hitsuki called hitsumi when she was a child. Since hitsuki has grown but hitsumi never grew (she just disappears to another world, or book if you prefer, when she turns 16), now she looks older than hitsumi. Hitsuki said so herself, “we are not blood-related anyway".

Somehow, I am still a little confused....

I just watched episode 8. It was pretty good.

That fox girl was really cute. xD But man.. This show airs so late/early? ^^;; I wonder if it has many viewers. I dunno but I'm really enjoying this show~ Hehe.

Just watched ep 8 and have to say that the fox girl is pretty cute with a weird dialect. However, I still prefer Ririsu-chan better in terms of cuteness

Btw, isn't it obvious that the princess is indeed Hatsumi herself?? That comb is the proof.
Also for the bad guys part, why all the bad ninjas are female except the leader?? Hmmm...well, I'm pretty sure the answer is fanservice

There's 13 episodes in total. The last episode should air on the week of Christmas if nothing special happens.

As for the "isn't princess Fuji just Hatsumi/Eve?", watch episode 3 again for the answer.

Yeah, Hatsuki really did kick butt in this episode. :P The next episode looks interesting too. That Garu guy disturbs me. ^^; and Ririsu is such a flirt. XD

Just watched ep 9.
I have to agree that Ririsu-chan is such a flirt but she is STILL my favourite characters in this anime. Really can't stand her CUTE and PERSUASIVE voice

Anyway, I really hate that Garuganchua guy. He acts like a gay and keeps doing the ballet-thingy around. What an annoying character. If anyone is his fans here, expect to see a lot of him in this episode .

Anlushac11 Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Indianapolis, Indiana, USA	Spoiler: I think Hatsumi wont get involved because 1) She knows she cant stay and keeps moving on so she tries not to set up long term romances because when she leaves the other party will be hurt. 2) I like Lilith but I dont trust her. She apparently took the soul of the Princess as some sort of payment. That al the very least makes her questionable. I get this feeling that Lillith and Hatsumi are opposites. Maybe Hatsumi spreads love and joy and Lillith spreads chaos and treachery. A balance of two opposite forces maybe?

Spoiler: Interesting ep, from the last preview I thought Hatsuki was finally going to meet Eve, guess not, she does look like her except the eye color and the fact she can speak. Spoiler: I really liked this episode, Hatuski really kicked butt. She beat those ninja girls like it was nothing even the huge boss ninja was no match for her. With those sword moves and techniques I can't imagine her not being a god or semi god. We also finally get to see what really happens between Ririsu and Garu's trade deal. It seems he offered that princesses soul to Ririsu in order to get Eve back. Instead he was given a world/book in return, because Ririsu doesnt want to directly hand over Eve to him. We also learn that Eve is Ririsu's younger sister, and that Garu looks like Yami, interesting. What stumps me is why does Ririsu need that soul for. Does she need it to survive kinda like a vampire but instead needs souls to live or stay young. I cant believe she tried to hook up with Garu shes such as flirt. ep10 preview looks interesting....only 4 more eps to go. __________________ Last edited by Keitarou20; 2003-11-30 at 07:14.

MMM..that demon fox was so sexy I could eat her. LoL she even grabbed Garu balls, even though she was drunk from sake, I had a feeling she would do that by the way she was talking. Too bad they miss Hatsumi/Eve again this time by a hundred years. It was an interesting episode nevertheless. __________________
