Answering some of the question and disagreement.
2. Real man do not show how strong they are. Only weak man show how strong they are to the world.
4. Man never get naked because there is a thing call exhibitionist in this world. They are proud of showing their naked body and hearing girl scream hahaha.

We could go in a 20 page debate arguing men's desire to show of, but the bottomline is that it still doesn't explain why no men at all seem to be fighting in this tournament.

But we all know the real reason. Vivid's been pretty girl-centric so far (Erio being, as usual, the only exception to the rule) so there's really no reason why they would suddenly change that for the tournament.

People who want their dose of testosterone will find more luck with Force.

Let's see...

Veyron's unable to battle because of Divider busted.

Fortis is looking pretty on the ship doing nothing really. (Why didn't this guy try and do something to Hayate's jumbo iceberg? Cypha has to hack at it all by herself.)

Erio was providing support until Karen took him out.

Deville seems to be the only real active guy since he tried sneak attacks and battled Fate. Touma's still being more or less controlled by his Divider.

So, really... where's that dose of testosterone again? Because it's pretty much lost in a sea of estrogen as far as I can see.

I was more talking about testosterone presence, not its victory.

Besides, any guy in the Vivid tournament would hardly fare any better.

If a male of any relevance is introduced, I bet he'll be immediately attacked as a threat to the 'purity' of the girls

No kidding. In Nanoha, the only organ more underused and underappreciated than the uterus is the penis.

I can live with the lack of males in the tournament if they gave a valid reason for it. But so far they haven't and it just strikes me as Seven Arcs being utterly cowed by yuri fans.

I think I might know the reason for why there is not a single male besides a few in the story. If any male character were introduced to the girls, it will autoatically trigger something called osana najumi/childhood friend flag. Erio is more like an oniichan chara but having a guy around Vivio's age is automatically a childhood friend and the route is already set by that time. This problem will occur if they introduce Touma to the story. The second reason I can see is the Shugo Chara effect, would you like to see a 17 year old cat boy hitting Vivio and her friends?

I've convinced myself for the longest time the tournament is gender-restricted, it just isn't explicitly mentioned to be so.

I guess as a tournament, it sounds less prestigious if they kept hammering the fact it's for girls only in a society and event where there's no real advantage towards any gender.

Maybe he has no magic that could have helped from the Bridge? Cypha was all ready to go in the hangar bay. 'sides, the villains who spend time just standing there are always the strong ones.

Indeed, one might add, in a society where all* the on-camera examples of "bad ass" are female...I doubt that Seven Arcs would actually spend the time to think about this, but it's entirely possible that on Mid, a male pursuing a hobby of beat-em-up martial arts is as against type as female wrestlers are in the modern U.S.

*Okay, almost all. Can't forget Chrono. And maybe Klaus, depending on whether history counts.

Two scientists and a low-powered sniper. Hence my point. The role of males in the MGLN verse appears more in command roles, intellectual/research roles, and support roles, not frontline-combatant roles.

Einhart uses his style, and he was also almost equal to the Sankt Kaiser, so those definitely counts for something. And maybe the Thunder Emperor was male too. But then again those guys are dead now, so yuri fans won't have to worry them 'threatening the purity of the girls'

Snipers are badass...they'er just severely underappreciated in fiction. The fact that Vice managed to do something badass as a sniper instead of a cheerboy (meaning that he actually got a chance shows his true skill) alone makes me like him.
