(L+CR) Black Clover (TV series) Anticipation

Plot Summary:

Asta and Yuno were abandoned together at the same church, and have been inseparable since. As children, they promised that they would compete against each other to see who would become the next Emperor Magus. However, as they grew up, some differences between them became plain. Yuno was a genius with magic, with amazing power and control, while Asta could not use magic at all, and tried to make up for his lack by training physically. When they received their Grimoires at age 15, Yuno got a spectacular book with a four-leaf clover (most people receive a three-leaf-clover), while Asta received nothing at all. However, when Yuno was threatened, the truth about Asta's power was revealed, he received a five-leaf clover Grimoire, a "black clover"! Now the two friends are heading out in the world, both seeking the same goal!

Not a big a surprise but a TV anime version of "Black Clover" has been announced. Coming for year 2017.

Studio will be Pierrot.

Hahaha, fucking Pierrot, I hoped for Toei since these lazy fucks are best what this manga deserves.
Maybe they will adapt light novel spin-off. In latest manga arc author pulled character from it and it's basically most awful storyline since the beginning.

Haven't heard many good things about the manga really, other than the usual "it gets better!". Pierrot also doesn't register much confidence, just look at the current twin star anime.

Well. Black Clover is about as standard a shonen as you get. If you like shonen tropes then you like it, if not you won't.

That said, the adaptation might end up being garbage, even though by the time this comes out there'll be more than enough material to get at least two cours out of it.

The irony is that they both share the exact same studio and same publisher, coupled with the fact Black Clover will potentially air in the same timeslot, so I wouldn't be too surprised if the first episode will get reception like that.

From what I've heard of the manga and it being compared to Naruto, I'm going to assume the author is probably a big fan of that series although that's just a personal assumption.

It seems so obvious which properties JUMP cares about and which ones they dont
Boku no Hero gets BONES, Haikyuu gets IG, Nisekoi gets SHAFT, Shokugeki gets JC Staff and all these titles got split seasons with really good animation.

Meanwhile it looks like (since its Pierrot) they're just planning on milking Black Clover the way they milked World Trigger.

both of this storys have the potential to fill in what bleach and naruto left behind but they give them to studios who slaughtered quite a few storys
