I'll actually be able to share my Despair with other people while watching! I just blew through everything Zetsubou Sensei related over a weekend (and picked up two volumes of the manga, well translated, props to Del Ray), so being able to Despair with other people will be a welcome change.

Translation times are gonna be a pain, though...

What station is showing it July 4th? An ad running during Haruhi last night said the start date was July 5th.

Hmm, I thought they were going to put all their staffs into Bakemonogatari, looks like I'm wrong. Nice to see they finally produced SZS in HD, the visual impression is very different from previous series (tvk broadcast is SD, though.)

Pacing is very good this time, too. Not too fast (Zoku/Goku) or too slow (the first season). Really feel this is the "completed" SZS.

Shaft really should put their artistic craziness here, instead of making idiotically random pasta and stuff appear in a serious anime like Bakamongatari. OP is a bit of a disappointment. The song is far from being as catchy as past songs... The ED was great though. Especially loved the visuals... Assuming it isn't a trick, the girls that recently appeared in the manga (not so recently now though, I guess) will appear in this season too. Looking forward to the next episode!
