Thanks for that. I've been filling out all the wiki pages on the Highschool of the Dead cast on Anime Vice. The fan-made wiki sites for the series weren't very helpful on first appearances.

The pattern for the covers has always gone with Rei, Saeko, and Saya in a loop.

Volume 7 with Saeko in bikini is the alternate limited edition cover that you can only get by buying the Blu Ray special.

The regular cover has Rei on it which I have on order. You can see it here:

Thanks. I thought as much. I'm waiting for a higher quality image of Volume 7. I categorize the HOTD series on the anime/manga wiki site Anime Vice.
I have some great scans of the other volumes' covers. Seriously large images of each volume.

I also wrote a full synopsis of Drifters of the Dead over on there and included pictures. You can read it here

That other manga is Highschool of the Head, it has are favorite characters from HOTD in a 4 koma style comedy strip. The jokes are ok but the art looks like $hit, it's serialized in Dragon Age every now and then with HOTD.

I know one of the chapters has been translated.
