Not really the whole book since I pick out my favorite stories, but I like to re-read some of the good old fairy tales during chistmas time. I gave away all of my fairy tale books besides my Andersen one. My father gave it to me and we read from it together during Advent every year when I was little. One of the most well know is "Thumbelina", I guess. So yeah currently reading various fairy tales by Andersen. 600 pages of awesome.
... Hmm I need a Grimm book, too. |

La traite des Slaves, l'esclavage des Blancs du VIIIe au XVIIIe sičcle by Alexandre Skirda.
In English I suppose it would be translated as The Slavic Trade, white slavery from VIIIth to XVIIIth century. Interesting essay on something that is barely mentioned in history textbooks.

Just breezed through Bonjour Tristesse by Françoise Sagan. It's short and well-written, but a tad bit clichéd seeing it over 50 years later. To be fair, the author was still a teenager when it was written.
Incidentally, my mother struggled through this book in French class when she was about that age, never realizing what it was actually about. |

Finished Towers of Midnight.
Some...very convenient things happening to say the least but it's still pretty good. Mat's fight with the gholam was epic as was Perrin's fight with Slayer. I have no idea how Brandon is gonna wrap this all up in a single book though...

I need to get back to WoT myself... Crossroads of Twilight was one of the worst of the series, and so I have yet to start Knife of Dreams. I also intend to read Brandon's own works, most notably the Mistborn series and the King somethingorother series
