Looking for an anime with a cold hearted woman that slowly warms up and falls in love.

Or.

A loser type guy who finally gets the girl.

Please, no Saikano or anything like it. I hated it.

Edit: I have seen Suzuka and like it a lot. Something similar would be great.

I'll second Haruhi. Suzuka fits the bill, though I can't say it is something I'd suggest however.

I might be streching it a little bit, but if you like your romance subtle (and I mean subtle to the point of arguable whether the feelings even exist), the relationship between the male and female leads in Black Lagoon possibly could fit. Revy (or Levy, I'm still not sure b/c different subbers do it differently) is possibly one of the most cold hearted women that ever existed in anime, but has a bit of a soft spot for the male lead Rock. Admittedly, this is an action oriented show, so if you were looking for a pure romance story, please forget I ever suggested this.

Cold-hearted girl who slowly warms up and falls in love: Blue Gender fits the definition to the letter.
Loser type guy who gets the girl would have to be Over Drive though it isn't technically over and there is bound to be a second season.

Meh I didn't really like Suzuka either but I tend to overcome my bias when it comes to suggestions.

Anyways, this might be a stretch, but Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal is a very good example of what you might be looking for, but you might have to watch Rurouni Kenshin to find out. Another excellent suggestion would be Elfen Lied. However, both of these are not completely romance anime.

One that hasn't been mentioned and seems to fit the bill is H2O: Footprints in the Sand. I am really digging this one for some reason.

I have been hearing about Love Hina for a while and will check that out as well.
