Oh for sure. Ayumu/Hina are core supporting characters at this point, they'll never really go away.

Well it depends on how long and how well they knew each other. Even if I knew someone from my childhood, if I hadn't seen that person in ten years or so (Even if they looked the same age), I couldn't be sure I would recognize them.

Checked and I see no sign of recognition from Maria (Not even a double-take).

Also I wasn't sure if that battery A-tan had was ever shown to us before, but it was.

Maybe my tongue-in-cheek history of Maria makes sense after all, if you assume Athena knows her because she got into the Royal Garden by forcing Maria out.

It really is a shame that Viz isn't bothering much with the manga. It would be nice to have the print volumes as they make it easier for me to reread the series (bedtime reading).

There was a volume illustration around the time Aika reappeared that showed her talking to teenage Athena in front of the ruins of her house in Mykonos and holding a kings jewel.

Ugh. Aika's entry would've made this chapter redeemable to me (I've always ranked her high purely in terms of appearance), but the art wasn't meant to flatter her this time around.

I very much liked how they keep showing Nagi's increased maturity without completely changing her tsun personality.

And I had to lol that Hata used the first season censor. He really does like the anime of his work.

I think Hayate's kindness is from his unrelated-by-blood brother... not from his parents
so it's safe to assume that his brother is kinder than him

She certainly would. One might venture that it's rather convenient for her to currently be in the form she first met Ikusa in, even. I think I'm more invested in her reunion with him then Hayate's all things considered.

I'll cop to not knowing about warf roaches prior to this chapter, either. Those things are legit freaky looking. Reminds me of opening up a certain section of backyard piping as a kid and just seeing a mass of infinite spiders setting up shop inside. I had to go sit down for a bit myself.
