There was one other thing... both Gaara and Naruto had been participating in the exam and was quite drained by the end of it. They both were definitely not at their highest potential. So the fight really was more like Kyuubi channeling versus Shukaku channeling.

I'm thinking out of the two Naruto took the bigger beating from Neji physically at least, chakra is easy to get back using Kyubi. So If both were on even footing, I'd think Naruto could win.

Its really sad, if Gai just gave Lee a Katana....Lee would be so much better.

You don't need to get it since Lee's a Tai-jutsu specialist not a Samourai. Lee inherited Gai's fighting style that rivals Kakashi's.

Well, it's pretty much what Dranz said, almost anyone can beat Lee, it's all the matter of knowing how to push someone...

Lee can't beat Naruto. That's crazy. Taijutsu is fast and all but Naruto's ninjutsu skills could defeat him. He would use harem-no-jutsu and make them all use rasengan.

That was before Naruto could acces the Kyubi powers and before he could summon a toad. If Naruto has his Kyubi chakra wrapped around him, i think it's stronger than Gaara's sand schield. So if they were to fight NOW, i think Naruto would win (even if Lee is in top condition).

To my knowledge, ninjas are well known to use katana's too, not just Samurais...and Lee does use other weapons, why not a katana? All I was saying was, if Lee had a Katana, instead of repeatedly punching people to beat them, he can just slice their head off in one shot. Gaara wouldn't last very long that way against Lee.

Oh btw, I was always wondering, does Gaara have sand protecting his eyes? Because I figure someone can just poke him in the eyes...

Actually it was stated in the first Ep that the Fox Demon Naruto carries is the strongest demon ever seen. Stronger than Gara and His sand Shield.

Yeah, I think it would all boil down to timing. In a Naruto vs. Lee fight, the longer the fight goes, the lesser chance Lee has of winning.

But imagine- even with Kyubi, do you think Naruto would still stand a chance against 5 gates? I'm not sure, but it would be one hell of a fight.

I personally think that's why they took Lee out of the "arena" for a little while. He was a great character, and good for a) losing to Gaara in a spectacular fashion and b) teaching Sasuke some new moves, but he was vastly overpowered when compared to most of the Genins. Now that the others have had more opportunities to train, though, if he somehow makes it back to the fighting ring (pleasepleaseplease), it will be a more even match. Plus, it'll give him a reason to train harder.

Well it depends...if Lee with gates open is faster than Naruto with full Kyubi effect.

Personally I think Naruto can just turn into a thousand clones and Lee would just run out of time trying to find the real one.

really ill answer truthfully IF lee did not just use his crazy pimpin skills, he would have to finish naruto off quickly like uzumakikitsu said the longer the fight goes the less lees chance would be of winning. oh and paintballer you dont know what your talking about if you believe what you said about

I don't ever remember kyuubified naruto being faster than lee. I don't even think this is mentioned anywhere in the anime or manga.

Sakura-chan is still my fav, but I was beginning to like Tenten. I was hoping we'd be seeing a lot more of her. Especially since she looks a bit like Chun-Li

Lee can never beat Naruto. Lee is super fast but we've seen how much that did for him against Gaara. and now that Naruto has learned how to control his strenght even more, its going to be almost impossible to stop his power. Look how easily he whipped out 1000 clones against Kimimaro, and he still seems to be in control.

Spoiler: and based of the manga, stronger than the demon inside of gara sinse naruto beats him. not to mention that Naruto is not fully ingulfed by the nine tails demon like Gara is with the his, So Naruto is only using some of the chakra that has been selled inside of him Over all at this point in the anime, Naruto would beat Lee. sinse Lee could not beat Gara and Naruto did. I think the timing of this fight is where the try determination of a winner resides.

Naruto doesnt' seem to follow that old formula, but its more liker rock paper scissor type situation. One person might be better suited to beat another. Unlike Gaara, Naruto is not well equiped to fight Lee....hence him losing to him already once. Naruto has no shield or armor of sand protecting him so Lee's hits will land on him. I mean in the end, if Naruto unleashed Kyubi, Lee would get pounded into the ground, but if he doesn't do so immedietly, he is going to get a beat down at the hands of Lee real quick.
