I kinda disagree. Their personalities ARE a little different. Shana is the most anti-social one, Louise is the meanest one, Aria is the most impulsive one, and Nagi is the most civil one....etc Their character designs are pretty different too.

There are way too many characters to name.

To throw one example:

Fate (Nanoha series) and Yami (ToLoveRu). These two could possibly be twins.

Yeah, it was a comparison between the twins from Lucky Star and the twins from CLANNAD. Meaning, the twins from both animes are almost exactly the same.

I see what Maddy's getting at. XD The hair colors, hair lengths, and eye shapes are IDENTICAL in both sets of twins.

Even the personalites look similar. Ryou and Tsukasa look bashful and Kyou and Kagami look confident.

Agreed.

In fact, it would be interesting to know which property (Clannad or Lucky Star) predates the other one, since I wouldn't be surprised if one set of twins inspired the other one.
