I'll probably go see it just to get a good laugh at how horrible it'll be. Will be fun to see Jacob becoming an asshole on screen in SMeyer's attempt to justify the relationship Edward and Bella have.

The male leads have certainly set off some interesting discussions in families I'm connected to that have two or more female siblings. Well, I guess, it's somewhat better than arguing about boy bands.

I read Twilight and New Moon LONG before the hype started and never really liked it, but now the hype just makes me despise it.
Meyer is a good storyteller but not so much a writer. However, I really did like The Host, I wonder if she got a new editor or something, because her writing was very different.

Never did read The Host, myself. Read a summary of the plot and was disgusted by her very blatant ripping off of Animorphs (and yes, I know other series used the concept before Animorphs, but those books are my childhood). I have good memories of Animorphs and don't want to ruin them reading a book that could never even touch what that series was.
