then it's best if share your experience in learning Japanese too. Like what make you learn it, steps that you took, as well as any tips you've found in learning this 'hard class' language

IMO, Japanese rated as 4th in level of difficulty to learn after Arabic, Chinese, and French among the 10

I know I'm the one that starts it, but we're getting off-topic here. Like I said, Japanese might be difficult, but it's not like you need mastery in the language to read Date a Live. Continuous exposure should give you enough vocab to read this series, and grammar mastery is not that required that much to read. The key is to start and keep going at it either by reading manga and easy light novel like this or listening to anime without subs as much as you can.

LOL. I knew the parallelism with Evangelion wasn't far off, but I guess they finally got tired of trying to hide it - Ratatosk's logo is pretty much identical to NERV's.
