I want all of that. Especially that Togame figure....I hope they make one of Houou-sama. That would complete my life. And the new Bahasa Palsu song is something I can't wait for. Omg things are just getting too good, if only I had the money D:

From what I've heard, it's not kind of show that attracts people who buy figurines, surprisingly enough.

Well... I'm also apparently in the minority that it annoys me that they often fail to provide the male protagonist in figure offerings (e.g. Horo but no Lawrence). I know *why* but its still annoying.

BOY am i glad, that my instincts told me NOT to watch katanagatari. normally i would be all over a "guy and girl travel alone together---> best romance" story but the character design didnt appeal to me, i decided to give it a chance though. I was so impressed I couldnt stop watching after the first episode, even 50minutes were over in a flash. so i am wondering why there are so few good romance anime out there (and i am not talking about all the harem and shoujo anime). it resembles spice and wolf a bit ---> many conversations between the 2 leads. sadly i think it had even more potential, for instance showing the fight between sabi and shichika (but all in all the best thing to do is to follow the light novel as closely as possible) or showing all the finishing moves, but these "flaws" are so minor that i dont mind at all. hopefully this one will have a good ending.

If am I too say, I really like the second panel, the look on Shichika's face is so enchanting, I mean like on the book covers his face is so... O_o

Very beautiful. The second one isn't too spoiler-ish imo, especially to those who aren't very familiar with Take's style. I agree with shichi; Shichika's face is really nice/interesting there. I currently take Sequential Art classes at my college, and my professor always says that subtle expressions and 3/4 turns are compositionally the best looking (yet the hardest to pull off well).

And dark and sexy Nanami is dark and sexy. <3

Well, I can't say this was a good episode. On par with Zettou Kanna in terms of infodump and lacklustery, which is a damn shame. I'm also not sure what to think of the plot twist... no, not the obvious one, the other plot twist! Well, it's a nice episode, but I wasn't exactly blown away (and I should have been).

The ending song is great, as usual.

Gah, I can't wait for the subbed version! There's so much I want to comment on, but I'll keep my mouth shut until I know exactly what happened.

I love how epic and urgent Faylan's songs always sound. <3 But... I don't know what it is. I feel like it doesn't 100% fit with the show for some reason. Or rather, it doesn't fit with the episode. I mean it does fit, but I expected something slower and sadder. Maybe it's just because my mind is still in "Mind as Judgment" mode (her song from Canaan). It's still a great song, though.

Spoiler for My commentary of episode 11: Well, the things I really liked was the layout of the episode, and how they keyed it together I guess, well not really, I did not like that fact they were pushing out the collection of Dokutou Mekki just to push open the grand opening for episode 12. I think they could have done a better job than that, and that is not just the fanboy screaming out HOUOU-SAMA I MISS YOU PLEASE DON'T DIE ON MEEEEE, but rather how they, to simply put, how boring and lame his death was. He really didn't even fight as himself, but really it was Shikizaki Kiki. A depressing episode. I did love the grudge match between Emonzaemon and Houou. But I miss pengin too. If only he lived, otherwise I would just smack Emonzaemon up side his head saying: No, bad boy. No. Meh, I would have more thoughts just that Ima wait for the subs so I can put down better thoughts, I do not speak Japanese after all ._. __________________ Woah, I'm Keanu, I know Kung Fu, WOAH!
