Yeah, the videos are amazing, it makes me wonder how Snake's got the same voice after so many years, and Drebin's a cool addition to the cast. It's like watching a movie, playing a game and reading a book all in one

That reminds me that I still have the final chapter to finish (mind you I've seen the cutscenes cause I couldn't help myself ).

The game is amazing if you're into that sort of story and the gameplay mechanics are pretty neat as well. Also: it's important to remind people of just how much better the controls are compared to the other games, it's like night and day. I picked up Snake Eater right before and if it wasn't for the amazing story the controls would have seriously turned me off.

Let me jump into the bandwagon too

True indeed. The game was quite complex too. Many new elements added into the game, to match the fact that Snake has aged, lol The vast environment also makes us quite free to roam around the area. There's always something to be found, especially funny easter eggs

The 4th chapter is the blast!
Spoiler for reason:

and of course the 5th one... the last battle is just epic.

I just wish the game has more codec moments, though.... compared to earlier installments, this game has the least of it.

The final showdown is my favourite.

It's a Nostalgia overlord and just so damn epic.

Now since Christmas is over, I have got some new games to play with.

Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)- Overall, the game is very fun and the idea of Mario 64 and classic game play combined together was neat. Still, I kind of died alot in few of the levels, some of it is silly mistakes, but that is about it.

The iDOLM@STER 2 (PS3) - Yeah, the anime motivated me to play the actual game and I decided to do just that. My kanji skills are still rather weak, but I managed to survive a whole week by just doing good with the lessons and communication that I'm clueless about with my poor vocabulary for Japanese. Nevertheless, the graphics looks pretty and the girls are cute. And yeah, I chose Takane as the leader.

Finished MGS4GOTP! Damn, that was beyond epic...
Spoiler for general spoilers:

10/10, gonna play it again. Right now.

EDIT: Clear time - 19:40, 44 continues, 122 alert phases, 536 kills. "Eagle" insignia! Bet I can lower the clear time by 4 hours if I skip the vids...

Oh, you finished it
Yeah, viewing the cutscenes actually add to our clear time. Try collecting the "Big Boss" emblem although it's the "Chicken" emblem that's very exhausting

aside from the codec moment...

Just beat Ruga O Rugla after replaying Wild Arm 4(The 4th Detonator).
I had forgotten how much I like the story and the characters.
Should be moving to 5(the Vth Vanguar)... I don`t like its story as much...

Secret of Mana had some awesoem tracks too. This is my personal favorite:
Spoiler for vids:

I got the complete F.E.A.R. pack from steam sales and am now playing through it, starting at the very beginning in part 1.

Very much retro.

We were dominating the online servers with a couple of friends back in the days, when they offered F.E.A.R. multiplayer for free.
This was our online shooter of choice, but I never played the single player side.
Couldn't resist the deal now.
