Teh_Ping is the only one I know who translate ToAruVerse in baka-tsuki to begin with. And what part of vol 05 do you want to read surerman? if its about the date of mikoto and touma then being interrupted by Etzal its already been translated I think.

and nah. Mikoto has an accurate usage of her power. She doesn't need for the other girls to get out of the pool to zap it out. Plus even if their are discharge of energer on mikoto. The main lightnigh attack mostly comes up on her bangs. Maybe the bangs acts as a lightning rod. Plus she could just get out of it and zap the peeper.

But if its touma..... I don't know or even if I know. You should probably know what will mikoto do

Seems to be pretty long - 50 pages or so.

No big surprises apparently. The facility is destroyed and Mikoto escapes. By the time she reaches the next facility, everything was already cleared out of it. Chapter ends on August 20th, when Mikoto meets Touma by the soda machine.

I think they key point of the chapter is that most of us would want to know where Nunotaba went (with Kinuhata), the result of the battle between Mugino and Mikoto... but I guess from that maybe it was a tie.

Well, keep in mind that the following comes from a single post on 2ch without confirmation. So please take it with a grain of salt.

They claim that Mikoto plays Mugino and uses Mugino's power and Frenda's explosives to both destroy the facility and secure an escape route for herself, leaving an incredibly furious Mugino behind.

If it's true, it seems Mikoto kept her mind focused on her goal and took the smartest way out of her predicament. Still depending on how it's handled, for a reader I suppose it might end up being a little lackluster for a final battle. I can't say without having actually seen it though.

Of greater concern, I haven't seen any comments on Shinobu's fate. This is what interests me the most as well, since of course, it's the part that isn't addressed in the Index part of the story at all. I hope there actually is at least a small measure of closure as it is supposed to be a long chapter, but details are very sparse at the moment.

I just got the ch. 30 raws from PD. However, it's only the length of a normal chapter, and the fight hasn't ended yet. Is it supposed to be 2 separate chapters in one issue? Or am I missing something?

Well, keep in mind, I don't have the chapter, so you have more than I do. Having said that, I checked the dengeki daioh site a few days ago, and yes, they were advertising it as 50 pages.

I finally did read a full synopsis of the chapter, and the synopsis was in two parts, so I think it was probably published as a double chapter to make up for the lack of a chapter last month.

This is the last page; it was unsurprisingly pretty much the first thing anyone scanned.

I've only seen a scattering of pages, mostly from a guy who was arguing that Mugino was a gorilla woman ("Mugirilla" he calls her) and he uploaded several panels showing off her admittedly impressive upper body strength.

I guess I'll have to look for the chapter as well. Given how slow scans have been lately, I didn't think it would be up yet.

From the synopsis though -

It seems that in the second half, Mikoto finally reaches the point of complete exhaustion and is barely even able to defend herself as Mugino proceeds to beat her badly, physically. For example, kicking Mikoto in the stomach repeatedly until Mikoto vomited. Eventually, Mikoto is able to use Frenda's cutting tape to level the area though, sending Mugino falling.

And since we always need that scene to show us how different they are, the wounded Mikoto reaches down to try to save Mugino from falling, but Mugino of course refuses her help, preferring to fall.

As I expected, Mikoto does indeed end up believing that they have stopped the experiments and that her sisters are safe, which explains her good mood when she meets Touma, and why her mood quickly sours when she runs into the Sister by the bench.

Not a word in the synopsis about Shinobu's fate though. Hopefully there will be something next month.

...that's cause that's chapter 29, i.e. the latest chapter out. The spoilers they're talking about are for chapter 30. We haven't got anything past Mikoto discovering Frenda's dolls yet.
