I have finished the game.
They seriously ended it like this? I understand why people said that the ending were like Sen no Kiseki now. It's going to be a long while waiting for Utawarerumono 3 that is said to be released in 2017.

Spoiler for MAJOR SPOILER FOR THE ENDING:

As I and some other thought, Kuon was Hakuoro and Yuzuha's child.
I wonder if she will be able to use her "god" powers she showed in the after credits scene.
I also wonder if she also can turn into a big monster like the Mask Users?
It's going to be tough for Haku now to pretending to be Oshutoru while everyone except Nekone thinks that Haku is dead. That party is probably going to fall apart.
It was hard seeing Kuon being completely broken when she heard that Haku were killed and didn't notice that she were in love with him until Oboro told her while hugging her.

But, haha, I wonder how the anime watchers will like the ending, and how is the anime going to explain Kuon since she was cut from the ending in the anime

btw I haven't bought vista so I didn't get to play sen no kiseki and didn't understand the comparison but its a hard wait to wait for the continuation.

btw how many hours is the playing time? is the game long?

It took me 33 hours and 39 minutes, although some hours can be shaved off due to leaving the console on.

As for sen no kiseki, well, it mean's that it end on a huge cliffhanger.

Spoiler for The child:

Only Yuzuha had a child with Hakuoro, if I remember correctly she wanted to leave proof in the world that she had lived, so by request from a drunk Oboro, Hakuoro had sex with Yuzuha.
The PS2 version cut most sex scence, but the scene between Hakuoro and Yuzuha happened offscreen(It was heavily implied).
The original game ended with Oboro visiting Yuzuha's grave with the child in his arm, and decided to go around traveling the world with the child. This was cut in the anime and had Oboro planning to travel alone instead.
It was never said what the child's gender or name was in the first game but in Itsuwari it's said to be Kuon.
Oboro gave her that name in hope of that she would live a long life unlike her mother who died from illness soon after giving birth to Kuon.
Kuon was raised by the girls from the first game so she calls most of them her mothers. However Kuon wants to call Karura mother, but Karura doesn't allow that so it becomes big sis instead, which she also calls Aruru and Kamyu.

I see a lot of changes to this coming in the InK anime. There's absolutely zero buildup or setup for this in the first anime which instead focused on HakuoroxEruru, so this will be nothing less than out of nowhere for anime-only viewers.

And I totally forgot, but the original Utawarerumono was indeed an eroge.

I didn't remember that end happening which is why its totally unexpected to me. Specially that in the pc version, he did all of them and only one has a result.

As for Eruru, she isn't mentioned by her name in Itsuwari, however she is the one who taught Kuon medicine and Kuon sings the same lulaby as Eruru, that will say Sadame.
In the end of first game Eruru began to live in a village.
The whole situation about Tuskuru isn't shown in Itsuwari, all it looks like it's grown to cover the entire Japan, or at least the northern part.
All that is shown of Tuskuru in Itsuwari is the hokkaido part when Yamato invades Tuskuru

Spoiler for Old Characters:

Most active is probably Karura and Touka, but that isn't saying much.
Karura is mostly in the hidden room at the top of the inn, where Haku goes twice and Kuon once.
Touka is working as a maid, and tries to avoid people who know her as much as possible like Kuon, Aruru and Kamyu.
Karura and Touka also appears when Haku need to sneak into the palace and shows a hidden passage from the inn.
Kamyu and Aruru appears a short while as diplomats from Tuskuru that comes to Yamato a short while before Yamato invades Tuskuru.
Aruru also appears in the post credit scene and uses Mukkuru to kill one of the Kages that tried to capture Kuon.
Kurou and Benwi appears during the invasion of Tuskuru, with Kurou fighting Haku and Benawi fighting Munechika.
Dori, Gura and Oboro appears three times.
One time Dori and Gura alone are talking with Kuon in her room, and later Oboro is talking alone with Kuon in an alley. Second time the three of them is talking with Haku without Haku knowing who they are. And the third time they meet with Kuon in the post credits scene and presumably takes her home to Tuskuru.
Urutori is mentioned once, when it's told how Touka "kidnapped" her and took her to Yamato for a short while.
And Eruru is simply mentioned as one of the mothers who taught her medicine.

Or at least in larger scale than city vs empire or empire vs empire of game 1? Tsukure is large enough that its combined land of the enemies in first game?

Spoiler for MAJOR SPOILER:

Tsukuru is the country from the first game that Hakuoro created, it's grown quite big by Itsuwari, looks to be at least the eastern half of Japan.
Itsuwari takes place in Yamato, which is a big country made up by several smaller countries. Most of the game takes place in the Imperial Capital of Yamato. Yamato is located in Far East Russia.
Near the end of the game, Yamato invades Tuskuru because the emperor wants access to Onkamiyamukai because he suspects there are a facility there, but Tuskuru denies access, so her tries to get there by force.
The invasion itself doesn't last long and becomes canceled quickly due to the emperor being assassinated by somebody. It's never revealed who did it, it will probably be reveled in Utawarerumono 3.
There aren't much war in Itsuwari, it mostly consists of Haku doing smaller things for Oshutoru that he can't do due to his status.

The plot is about the events leading up to Haku becoming Oshutoru's successor and world building for Utawarerumono 3. Itsuwari no Kamen is basically Utawarerumono 2 part 1.
It ends with what looks like a civil war in Yamato is about to start after the assassination of the Emperor and the assassination attempt on Anju and trying to make her a political puppet.
They can't allow Oshutoru to be dead due to the unstable situation, so Haku fakes his death and only Nekone knows that the real Oshutoru is dead.
Utawarerumono 3 looks like it will be about Haku pretending to be Oshutoru and uniting Yamato again and making Anju the new emperor while also saving the old humanity, a.k.a red slimes.
The Emperor called Haku humanities first and last hope, but he wasn't able to explain what he meant by it before he died.
