Did anyone ever watch The Maxx? It was on MTV liquid television back in the mid-ninties. The art was amazing and the story was extremely twisted and crazy. Deffinatly the best.

Family Guy - Best comedy anywhere period. I love when Peter spends his retribution money (from slave ancestor) on re-decorating the living room into Pee-Wee's Playhouse!

I remember that show, the entire concept of where that show was hosted was twisted, such as Aeon FLUX. Didn't Image or DarkHorse comics take in MAXX as a character?

Image I believe. But I think it was comic series before the tv series came out. The art is almost exactly the same, but the series cut out alot of stuff. The comic takes place over 32 issues. Your the first person i've heard from this board that remembers that show! I posted this link in another thread, but here is a scene from the comic that was in the cartoon also.

I used to like family guy, but it's become a lame parody of itself. same with the simpsons.

I like South Park the best. Tom Cruise trapped in the closet = WIN.

I like the Simpsons, or at least the older episodes. Some of the more recent ones make me stare blankly at the screen wondering if they just pulled a bunch of words out of a hat and wrote a script with them. But I thought the old ones were clever.

I also like Animaniacs, especially Pinky and the Brain. I'm not sure if it's still showing though. I never have time for TV anymore.

Sure I do like the Simpsons as well but some of the older cartoons are great. They still make me laugh. I am thinking here of ones like Tom and Jerry and Roadrunner. Also the Flintstones. I think it was probably one of the first cartoons written for adults.

Robot Chicken!

I love Family Guy, Simpsons, Futurama, and all the rest of those shows that distract me in the afternoon when I should be doing homework but...I just adore Robot Chicken for being unique in it's animation style and execution. Family Guy comes in a close second, and then all the other mindless hours of entertainment follow Family Guy up in a giant blob of laughing goo.

Only in the same sense as tom & jerry is. It's one of a few shows that popped up done in anime style to capitalize on the anime fad. I can't comment on the quality of the show itself, as I have never seen it, but it's not anime in the way we'd use the term in the US.
