My preorder arrived two weeks ago, but I forgot to post about it. Haven't started playing it yet since I am still playing Ayesha Plus.

New mouse came in the mail a couple of days ago- a Logitech G500s.
It's mainly a spare at the moment, since my current G5 mouse is still going strong (I think it's about 5 or 6 years old), but the cable is starting to fray a little, which is a bit of a concern.

^ what a coincedence...somewhat. i just ordered a G400 mouse yesterday since i
like it's simple design. my old G5 mouse is going to be use by my little bro. in place
of his get-old mouse.

my G5 mouse wire gotten a little torn up, but it's still very usable. i was going to order
another G5, but then i saw the odd pricing on amazon, G5 mouse for $289.99.

so i ended up with a G400 - $44.95 *cheers*

It's not that odd about the G5 pricing, when you think about it- since it's no longer in production, the prices tend to go up due to their rarity. Kinda like my Sony DR-E10iP earphones, which I definitely prefer over the Apple EarPods (I find they're too bass heavy for my liking), and which I've had to bust open my backup pair since my last ones broke (left earbud having issues).
Since I know that the G500s is the successor to my old G5, I thought I might give it a shot.
Out of curiosity, what made you pick the G400 over the newer G400s?

^ i simply like the g400 design more. it looks simple and if anything, it looks similar to our g5.

Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

as for the g500, it looks like they added more buttons to the side and i wasn't sure about
the conflict between the buttons. i only really needed that two side buttons for shortout keys for when i'm playing Tera.
do you liking the g500 so far? i was going for the g500, but i decided for the g400 for it's simplicity.

EDIT: so I gotten my mouse today. I don't really like the way it clicks and it's kind of soft on the buttons compare
to my old G5. I gave the g400 to my little bro. to use instead...maybe he'll fine some use for it. as for me,
I'm back to using the g5 for a little longer.

New case for my iPad :3 Broke the old case and a bit of the screen broke too still working though. Good thing the damage isn't that noticeable...

I've got the G500s out of its box to test out... First thing I noticed was the surface felt alot smoother than the old G5, presumably of the hydrophobic and fingerprint coatings- not so handy for gripping when your hands are cold due to winter. I haven't had the time to use it in hardcore FPS gaming, so it's something I think I'll need to do before I can pass judgement on it. Otherwise, it's a perfectly fine mouse.

Got myself a new higher-capacity battery (2550mAh) for my Wii U GamePad not too long ago- seems to add a little heft to it, and I haven't had much time to put it through its paces, but I have a good feeling it's a worthwhile purchase.

Finally back from vacation… and bought Mario Kart 8 and a Wii U Pro Controller while in Wisconsin because the tax is lower. I have played some of it and it's a pretty fun game. Also, the graphics looks amazing for a Wii U title.

Also, my sister bought new headphones since the wire is exposed on one side. Opted for a Audio-Technica ATH-M40x (which has a detachable cord), which only cost $86 because of 4th of July sale. While I haven't read a review on them, they are apparently more balanced than the more than the ATH-M50x. But aside from the fact she has to rerip some songs since some on her iPod are low bitrate, I think it's a good value headphones for the quality.

Nice cans, and I mean that in whatever way you take it. Definitely send along your Nintendo ID if you plan to play more games online!
