i'm still confused on how you all conclude that the enemy became 'suddenly' slow and dim witted.
It says in the chapter that he recognized the Narutos closing in from behind him, but his attention was forced on the front which is where another Rasenshuriken was being formed. and on the basis of the previous attack Naruto came from the front, and the de ja vu was showing that Naruto was repeating this. He just assumed that the ones behind him were shadow clones on the basis of what he saw, i think you're all giving him way to much credit. that he should suddenly, and inexplicable realize that the ones in front were shadows and the ones behind were real, how would he know that? |
