Are there any good known action RPG like monster hunter for pc? Are there any for online? I think Rise of the Argonaut might be on this classification, am I right?

Sins of a Solar Empire is a top notch 4X-RTS, if you like Sci-fi.
A friend of mine gave me the disc of this game for me to install it and try it out. But he told me something odd =/. The game doesnt have Campaing O_O. IS that true? Or is it able after a patch or something?
