Lia doing the opening? Awesome.
Now I'd just like a confirmation as to who's gonna handle the BGM so I'll have some idea how awesome that's gonna sound. (Maeda's a given, but I doubt he'll write the entire soundtrack himself.)

Wow. Otonashi reminded me of Kyousuke. I'm glad to see Na-Ga's awesome character designs finally making it to television.

Yup, that's right: it's a Spring 2010 show.

Definitely my most anticipated series of Spring 2010.

I still can't shake the warnings that THIS IS GOING TO BE BAD, THIS IS GOING TO BE BAD.

I'd feel better if they actually admitted that they were ripping off Haruhi's characters...

Since when did Yuki's character archetype become original? Did we timewarp to the late mid nineties?

I was talking about Yurippe or whatever her name is... the silent girl hasn't been original in years, yeah, you're right. (It was more that she has what looks EXACTLY like Data Manipulation, but...)

Yurippe, however... still looks like Haruhi, just like people here have always said.

Oh, and the premise still sounds terrible.

Not that it couldn't turn out good (it probably will) but I'm still hearing warning bells over here.

Well, it's no surprise that anime & manga rip off from eachother.
It's nothing new.
To me, it all matters on how well it's played out & presented.

I still remain optimistic
And this trailer reassures me. That concert scene looks damn awesome. I can't wait to see that.

Yes, this is the time when we can finally see another studio rise to the top OTHER THAN KyoAni. Thank goodness.

Only warning flag I saw was the part where three girls were randomly playing guitar on stage. Do we really need a music based segment in every show now? (Note, I know not every show does this.)

Probably a 5-6 min of one episode.

But why do I get a feeling that those 3 singers are going to be voiced by the K-on girls? >_>

Key's always got good storylines
I agree, music seems good. they seem to have made her less haruhi (compared to the sketches) at least
