'Good second half segment definitely improve the sale overall'? That's what I'm counter arguing, there is no 'anti-moe' campaign going on.

The drawing scene was definitely the best, though the Rock-paper-scissors thing with Yuuko and Mai amused me too.[And the short scene before it too] I also found the cute scene with Nano and Hakase an ok start and the "daruma" scene to be pretty funny too. So Overall a funny episode again.

If it does not then, which studio will actually care about the 2nd half of their anime? They will just make a good first few episodes then following by a bunches of low quality half-ass jokes with loose ending PS: still waiting to watch ep 5

Best episode for me so far, personally. I think it was the first time I actually burst out laughing out loud at a joke in this show -- twice, actually. Both the sunglasses segment AND the drawing one were top tier comedy.
And man, I know this has gotten old by now, but this show keeps impressing me. It looks too good for what it is, and we're 5 episodes into it...

To comment before on people saying the music turns people off of the show, I like most of the BGMs that have been used for the series so far, though the only series where the BGM has turned me off of a show more than I already was Bakuman .

Which characters do people like the most when watching Nichijou?
Because I found out that some people watch the anime where only Hakase is involved or Mio involved and skips the rest. Since the anime is divided into sections like short episodes... |

It's always better to think of them as comedic groups. Mio and Mai may be wild on their own in completely different ways, as is Yuuko, but their strengths are brought to the forefront when they're bouncing off each other. The same for Nano, who needs the Professor's bizarre inventions and childlike attitude to compliment her, and Sakamoto's catness to provide a contrast to both of them. Character dynamics are important in anything, but in comedy, they are especially important.

I'm loving all the skits with Yuuko and Mai so far. Mai is a such a troll to her, its always amusing to me.
The drawing skit was also pretty good. Mio went a little too overboard with her BL, and her pictures ended up on her quiz lol.
