Then I saw their designs – the art style could not have been further from the Metal Gear universe. Immediately, I slammed my fist on the director’s table. “You cannot put this in a Metal Gear game!” I told him. Before I knew it, my last three days at Platinum turned into over half a year.
If only there was someone like this in a certain other game's staff... Well there probably was.

Me thinks I know what game you're talking about.

Oh it's just a skin for Raiden, I thought for a second there they brought Grey Fox back as a character.

Still, that's a pretty awesome inclusion for those who have ever played MGS1 and thought, "man, how cool would it be to play as Grey Fox for once".~

Well, there was an extended version of MGS1 that allowed us to play as Fox. Also MGS2 Substance had a Gray Fox skin for Raiden.

Hopefully they'll have funny hidden codec conversations too.

I like how Raiden referenced the ending of Solid 2 (and Snake's speech) when talking with Kevin. It pretty much shows how Snake acted like an uncle (he was exactly his uncle his Solidus was Raiden's stepfather) to Raiden and guided him.

I wish for the characters to indirectly break the fourth wall in typical Metal Gear style.

That is sick. Maybe it's a collector's edition cover?

Could be, but if so this might be one of the few games I would consider getting a special edition for the cover art alone

Of course there's nothing to discuss if said edition cost $150... I'm not made of money.

True that is asking for a lot for collector's edition. They could have put out a collector's edition with out all that other stuff that comes with the 150$ version. Just a special cover/sleeve and a soundtrack for much less.

This game has stealth elements similar to Tenchu and shinobido. I dig that.

There better be a "visor" costume for Raiden. I love that thing, it sucks it only activates when using the "scan" mode option.

It's because of the damn plasma lamp sure it looks cool but I have no use for it and after the Skyrim dragon figurine, I've grown out of the phase where I spend ridiculous money on pretty things.

A plasma lamp is lame imo. Now if they gave an actual life size replica of his sword, that would be cool.
Holy shit that would have been awesome for $150 ...(or rather S$250 in my currency...)

Raiden here is overall cool and badass, but my only gripe about the design is the high heel cybernetic boots her has.

Also PlayArts Kai is releasing 2 version of Raiden in MGSR

The problem is that Raiden needs to walk so those feet are necessary
