Where you at Kaisos? And dkellis, if you could fulfill Kaisos's request to periodically bring up a compilation of rewrites so far, I could also modify the first post for easier access later.
Well, I needed sleep, so I haven't got much farther yet... I get most of my inspiration while overtired, though.

So I'm starting again now.

Hmmm...let's see...

Backlog = A large number of posts between one's last post and the most recent one after not checking the thread for a period of time.

Bluechessium = Post that contain a large amount of content, especially replies to other posts from backlog.

Crack = Crazy and unusual comments/references that do not appear to have relevance to the current topic of post and sometimes results in a WTF?! reaction.

Dunno how accurate I am with this . Perhaps some of the other Outer Cadians can flesh this out?

Almost, you got backlog right, but crack can be related to the topic in question Bluecheesium warants more explanation. For one, replies are generally not counted as Bluecheesium. Bluecheesium posts is a post filled with mountains of text on a single subject, to the point where many will think "Am I really supposed to read all of this?"

And no, DJ, you can't count this thread superior. Try reaching 20.000 posts first, then come back. Though we'll probably have hit the 30/40.000 posts by then.

Please refer to me as RmX. And we shall see.

In the mean time, feast your eyes on Kyon-chan and Itsuki-chan.

If everyone's gung-ho about Kyon-chan getting escorted home, I won't argue. It sort of works for her to ask Yuuki, I suppose-- maybe Yuuki says something along the lines that it's unnecessary, and Kyon-chan drily asks him to humor her. I imagine she'd probably be a little rattled by the weird stuff he's been saying, and so would maybe be not feeling quite as up to going home alone in the dark as normal, even if she wouldn't admit it.

Now there's one of the tsundere explanations I've been waiting for.

I think I'm going to try my hand at writing that bit, my favorite part about Kyon in the novels is that he's a fairly unreliable narrator when it comes to what he's actually feeling so I think it would be fun to figure out a way to insinuate things without being incredibly obvious... :3

(Maybe later, though. Damn you, calculus homework.)

Ahh, speaking of which, I am currently working on conversions of the Itsuki/Kyon 'holding hands' scene in episode 13. Coincidence?

That sounds far more reasonable, and would fit with Kyonko's romance denial.

Kyon-ko is gonna be more tsundere than the original Haruhi with the way things are shaping up. (Bad) Shoujo exposure as a young lass must have done quite a number on her.

To some, maybe to most. We've always said that you need to be slightly crazy if you want to enter the Nanoha OC thread.

Me? I read everything.

The conversions will be simple, but I'm hoping they'll spart more profesional fanartists to draw the scenes, and maybe add a little more.

More tsundere indeed. I believe we noticed that with her reaction to Haruki's groping. But she's going to be tsundere in her own snarky way.

Even Mitsuru is picking up some of Haruki's GAR aura here:

It sure was dark out tonight.

“Hey,” I said. Nagato looked up, but before he did, I thought something about his slim body kneeling there had looked almost... lonely. “If you’re going to make me come out at all hours of the night, the least you can do is walk me home.”

If he had been anyone else, he probably would have looked surprised. As it was, he said, in that same monotone he used for everything, “That is unnecessary. The crime rate in this city is not such that--”

“Humor me,” I interrupted drily.
Lawl.

And Ryo's so gonna jump out of the bushes wielding the sword in the next round. Or at least have Kyon-chan say she thought she saw something that looked like a teenage guy's figure in the shadows of the trees.

Hello. I have popped out of nowhere and interrupted the discussion merely to write a few words of praise for this project. While I hardly have any opinion of genderbending as an idea (it is relatively new for me), I have to say I find this particular example here purely awesome.

Yes, as you probably guessed, I'm one of the people who have lurked around this thread for all 40+ pages, and now decided to join merely to... Err... Be of no use, I'm afraid. As of now, at least... Sorry about that.

My original intention was to read this thread through, and then offer my help. However, all that I could do would be some illustrations and writing, but I have noted that you already have better people for that job. Which was, oddly enough, not enough to keep me from registering anyway. In other words, in case a situation where you conveniently need the opinion/other help from a random person like me, I'd be glad to help. As I mentioned before, I think this is awesome, so I'd be glad to be able to help it further somehow... Just because I want to see more, of course.

After that long explanation on who on earth I am, I'll shorten it up a little and add the point; as of now, I'm just a random useless person who likes this idea/project a lot (I've notived that I've quickly started to evolve into a Yuuki-fangirl... I happen to have something of a megane moe, it seems ). However, I'll probably voice my opinion a few times in the future, if I get the chance. Hopefully, I'll be of some help.

Oh, and as an apology for the long, rather pointless post, I'll force this on you.

It's a female Fujiwara I drew a while back. I'm aware that it's not a masterpiece, and the only way I can defend myself is by promising that it's not that new (and I'm still working on my character designing, practising pretty hard too). However, it was the only thing that has even remotely anything to do with this topic that I could add (even though it's a bit early for Alt-dan)... So please don't get too annoyed with me.

Thank you for your patience with my post.

Hey, no need to be so overly polite.

And that's a fairly awesome conception of Fujiwara. Exactly how I'd imagined him as a chick.

Like Kaisos said, no need for that much formality.

It doesn't matter that some contributions are bigger or flashier than others, because every little bit helps.

And considering the badass picture like the one you just gave us, I'd already rate you as well up there on the contributions totem pole.

Besides, every opinion is welcome. You don't have to be able to draw 'superior manga pieces' to be able to share you opinion.

I mean, I can't draw crap, what you drew is better then I could pump out in a month. I'm not even sure whether the photoshop conversions I'm working on will turn out decently, and I'm still here.

The little brother sure knows how to bribe.

The way Kyonko tlked herself into the paranoia of people hiding in the bushes was a good way of making her scared. I fully second this to be in the official version.

Nice insert.
