He got her to run out of energy but she accidentally fell down a cliff - he risked his life to save her from the fall and got horribly injured. He also figured that Yaya wanted to be treated like a human and not as an automaton. Thus Raishin calls her his partner (instead of automaton) and try not to talk to her like a machine in front of her.

1. how long is the duration of the night party? based on chapter 17 of the manga, it says 1 battle per night, so with 100 participants it will have 100 days. but from the spoilers it seems that the night party have been held for more than 100 days

2. after the night party start, if a regular student stole the gloves of a participant, could they join the night party?

3. Raishin's fiancee just came from japan, right. how can she participates in the night battles?

1. Summer break happened. There was also an incident where automatons got mind controlled and automaton-napped by the prince and a handful of people were forced to forfeit (then the tournament was halted). The academy eventual reverted the results and had them all fight at the same time after the summer holidays. But yeah, the tournament is heading towards an end since the current cliffhanger fight "should" determine the defeat of one of the three groups.

The tournament also only last for a few hours per night (2 hrs I think?). It is not guaranteed that someone will be knocked out every night. Also not sure if tournaments happen during weekends.

Note that Raishin is still no where close to laying a finger on Marcus even with new techniques: such as a mastery of Yaya's circuit to a point where herculean strength (both offense and defenses) also applies to Raishin.

The raw strength of Yaya is actually somewhat weak of a circuit. There are circuits that play with dimension gaps, circuits that provide similar unbreakable defenses, attacks such as sigmund's that is antimatter and would be very damaging if avoidance fails. One of Marcus' automatons seem to have a vampiric power. All the above are hard counter to Yaya's strength in attack and defenses. The only thing left for her imo would be Raishin's quick thinking and possibly unmatched speeds.

For Raishin to stand a chance:
- Yaya's evolved form haven't shown itself for a while.
- Mastery of Ariadne's String: a suffocation of magical powers vs a very strong concentration of magical powers.
- Further mastery of the Akabane family technique.
- Much more knowledge and understanding of all of Marcus' automatons.

I wish to see Raishin and friends team up against Marcus or have Raishin use all three sisters together. However I have a feeling it will come down to just Raishin+Yaya vs whoever thing.

2. Maybe? At the very start Raishin challenged Char to a duel to get her qualifications so I suppose the right to participate can be transferred.

3. She was studying in the academy before Raishin arrived because she knew Raishin will go after Marcus (and meanwhile, gained her place in the night party). She returned to Japan (and anger her family) after she learned that Raishin was living @ Shoko's.

The LN can have some tones of darkness involved.
Short term speaking, I believe the tournament needs to be delayed again for Raishin to grow.
Either that, or Raishin would lose to Marcus which forces the LN to continue for more volumes. Raishin is no where close to being able to win in a fair fight.

Atm (almost) every volume focuses on one new heroine, which takes away a lot of character development from the others.

The various factions involved in the novel wanted the power of god - the ability to create "perfect human" (the unbreakable machine doll). Raishin would have to somehow get involved and defeat their latest creations and stop them from becoming the masters of the world.

If I have to relate this series to another one, it would be mahoromatic.
(and at the end, Raishin might "recreate" the destroyed Yaya as a "human" and fulfill the prophecy.)
(I am perfectly fine if Raishin and Char have a kid and named her Yaya as well with Irori as their housemaid)

Not sure what made you think to compare the two because they're not even in the same universe. And putting Itou in the same sentence with Raishin should be a punishable crime...

I wouldnt even consider School Days to be a harem: its just 1 guy being extremely indecisive between two flirtatious girls. I think it has a pretty terrible plot and is only made well known because of the rather... interesting... endings.

None of the girls wanted Raishin dead in this novel. Some of them are even willing to share...
