Not every manga is better than the anime... Claymore for instance, is crap all around now.

I dont watch claymore but you have to see if the manga was adapted from the animation or the animation was adapted from manga. Usually it's animation adapted from manga or novel, resulting in higher possibly in crap animation. However, for some like Mai hime and Mai otome, the manga was generated after the popularity of the hime series. If you read the manga, Mai -hime manga was acceptable but the otome one really should go into the rubbish bin.

btw, either oh great can drag the series longer with next week just to have ikki find out kururu being kidnapped or he can have the gang get into action and save kururu. The plot is being delayed too much

Thats not completely ture... sure without the anime there would be no soundtrack... but now that there is just do what i do alot and make sure to listen to the sound track as your reading each chapter!

i agree and disagree at the same time, ive read thru all the manga and seen the series and yeah the animation was a little weaker in consistency then it should have been, but i think that it was overall well done. I was upset about the moderate story shifting and how they changed most things but i really enjoyed seeing certain tricks actually animated... it put a whole new life into ones like buccha's wall rides and such.

It would have been nice if they tried to keep alot closer to the story line in the manga, the only place i dont mean this is the Devils 30-30 wich i really perfer the anime version. It maybe made the even a litte too big and important seeming with the massive ammount of people it added to the scene... but it was really perfect for how an event that important should have gone down... not like 5 people in a warehouse only, that was a little dissapointing to see how trivial the manga made that part seem considering it was a great moment of strength for ikki as well as the rise or fall of "his" genesis.

Heck yea they will continue Air Gear its a wicked good series and if the U.S. sales are good ADV will order more. It would be a blunder not to continue sales in america that are healthy. So ADV will continue im be waiting for them.

I think Air Gear had some really good potential to become a really good anime. I was extremely disappointed to know they only went up to Ikki jumping over the people. I wanted to see Ikki ascend to Sky King...or at least see Kazu save that chick who was going to commit suicide.

Kazu = pro speed.

1. NO it's not finished. 2. Not even close. Right even though chapters come out, it's not really moving anything. So much so ive stopped reading until something happens that get's it back on track.

3. No news. Chances look really low. Might have to wait until manga finishes and then see what comes out from it.

Thanks alot *_*. Well i think we will have season 2. thats my personal opinion hehe. But that would probably be in couple of years.

Also do you remember when did Crow-kun said he would carry them and fly? i am gona relook it myself to see if i can find it. But any ways i thought it was a good series. Espeically loved the OST.

Also i am going to ask you a manga related question if you dont mind *_*. I am going to PM so that it will not spoil any one.

Quick question, does anyone know what chapter the last episode in the anime ends at? I want to continue reading it even though the anime is discontinued (like Gantz, Berserk, Claymore, etc.).

At the moment i can't remember, though personally i think you should start at the beginning of the manga. Not just because of some of the missed out pieces not in the anime, but for the overall feel of enjoyment.

But yeah it's totally upto you.

Also, has anyone heard anything regarding the movie news? Apparently there's a grayed out button on the shows TV Tokyo website that says movie.

I always prefer the anime over the manga but I read the manga after the anime is over. The manga just doesn't have the same effect. This anime wants me to build some ultra super duper skates and go flying somewhere. Manga doesn't have that kind of effect on me.

For example: If I watch overdrive, it makes me want to drive a bike and go to a marathon race in my place that happens every year. If I watch bamboo blade, it makes me want to practice kendo and martial arts again. Manga can never give me that kind of effect or motivation.

When I watched 5 cm per second, I was like emo for a week. Manga can't do that for me.

From what I understand the manga isn't past the sewer street fight yet and the reason the anime was halted was due to the fact the anime was outpacing the manga (I'm also told that Claymore had the same issue). This is 2nd hand so I wouldn't take my word as law but it's what I've been told.

I just dont get the idea of "street fighting" and "gangs" in animes.... it seems so unreal and childish. A pair of rollers with some illogically powerfull engine can make you say stupid things and act as if they were some kind of god?
The only logical thing i heard in the whole series was what that G-man with the coat said to Akito (behemoth)... that they existed to protect the normal people from those AT riders that went overboard.
Also if that kind of technology was created and even high schoolers can get them.... shoudnt the rest of the world be a bit different? I mean... how come cars are still the same >.<

Even though there are so many things i dont like.... the tournament / comedy with strong character main leads are the kind of anime i like the most and i cant say i didnt enjoy some parts like the 33.3 mt jump at the end. I would give it a 6/10 and hope for a better second season, even though it is very unlikely to happen-

Air trek is supposed to cost tons of money, after ruining his first pair Ikki had to work in the ramen shop for a long time and then do parts war to get spare parts (it's a wonder his friends and classmates could afford them though). The plot starts off at a childish level, but then again this IS a manga for kids, nobody would be attracted to a pure trick show.As the manga goes on,the story is half-shaped, with many parts left blank or ambiguous (like Sora's attitude/true goals and Agito's origin),but I think it's a good thing because in the end you'll find out who Ikki really is-
Spoiler:
, leaving a lot of room for the manga to expand. Can't wait for the next release
P.S:I suppose Buccha=butcher (like Kira=Killer xD)
does agito curse tons in the anime too?^^
