I won't be that devoted to Clare. MWUHUHAHAHAHA! I would like to see Jean as the man of the house though, Clare would have to do everything she is told.

Nahhhhh, Clare would totally be the man of the relationship, Jean does everything she is told. It's like a dog-master relationship. Helen approached Clare, Jean barked.

I'm kinda glad she didn't met Raki. Things could have gotten ugly.

In the figth against Dauf, you should have to protect Jean so that she could use the drill strike. If Jean dies, Game Over.

Apparantely, the game has just been released, something I wasn't even aware of. Anybody buying or curious enough to try the Rom?

If the text is ever translated and works well with slow PC's, I may attempt. I have DS emulators, but can't actually think of any games worth playing that my cheap laptop can actually run.

not sure asking about rom here is a good idea, since they forbid asking for raws on this fourm, so my guess the same goes for rom too.

On a side note, NDS has a better weak processer, so I wouldn't imagine being too hard on the cpu to emulate it on PC.

I'm not asking for it, I'm asking if other people will emulate on their computer.

Depends on the specific emulator you use and depends on the power of your system: Higher-spec=Faster speeds.

Me with cheap Dell laptop = why bother?

I tend to disagree with @JB on this one. This of course no offense to you @JB. Like @hell, even I would like to see Jean as the man of the house. And by the way, that pic is cute.

We can't expect much from this game. DBZ's first games also sucked.

BTW, you can see a pic where Clare uses the QS against the six armed AB.

Most DS roms aren't even useful from what I know, so I will just wait until the game comes out where I live, which is probably going to be half a year like most other games.

The rom is out and I am on my way to the first AB encounter ;P.
As expected the game is rather medicore, the graphic is kinda meh, the control is some what awkwarded and the gameplay is quite plain compare to games like Castlevania. But hey it got Clare and Teresa inside so I'd play with even if it is just a sqaure fighting a circle XD.

Read-Only Memory, but here it means a copy of the game data stored in a ROM chip in the cartridge.

Why am I not surprised

Claymore simply cannot be made into a video game.

I should have known, but like you said, at least you get to play as your favorite characters.

Can you give us some more information?

Give me 20M$ and 5 year I will pump out a AAA Claymore for ya no problem XD.
Given the time have budget they have I wouldn't be too picky on the game, it is not a game made to attract people who never heard of Claymore but a game for the fans.

About the game, you start with Clare, you whack yomas with your sword, you whack some more yoma, then you whack a boss then some more yoma..... that pretty much sums up the gameplay. There are some speical attack you can do, like quick sword after you meet Irene, and also a spinning sort of attack, I am sure there is more but I haven't found out any yet.
Story wise it follows the manga story reasonably faithly, some minor details were cut but no "creative" content like the anime so far. The Clare game starts with chapter 1 then follows her till northen war. After you beat that you can play as Miria (maybe with different storyline) and unlock more characters(hopefully eventual to Teresa and Irene XD).

I had a feeling each story would only go to the war in the north, well maybe except for Teresa's and Irene's storys.

I have that too and mine won't work for some reason, all it does is the screen turns black then all I see is some japanese text and it doesn't do anything else.
