Look at you keyboard numpad: the numbers represents the directions, assuming you are on the left.

7 8 9
4 5 6
1 2 3

Therefore, 5 is the center, so "no direction". 6 is forward (going right), 4 is backwards (going left), 8 is up, 2 is down.

ABC represents the attacks buttons: A = weak, B = medium, C = Strong, D = Touch.

So, for Battler's projectile, it is 236A/B/C, which means: Down, down forward, forward (quarter circle forward) A B or C.

Okay, B.Battler/Bern has the lowest HP in the game, even after their buff in 2.31, but it does not make the awesomeness of this combo worse.

This is gonna sound stupid, but why was Black Battler put into the game, as a character and as a boss? Why not Gaap, or someone else?

Because Black Battler is less work, probably. A Battler clone is easier to implement than a new character.

Because the plot is branching and tehre is not a greater evil, since everyone has got different end bosses history wise, they had to force a greater evil there and black battler fits the role perfectly.

That video, well, it's awesome. Some very interesting uses for SP Cancel, and finally, a Will combo that isn't normal -> meta -> meta super -> 236AB -> meta super, it is a very good combo, but I get bored seeing it every single time Will appears on combo videos.

Except Featherine isn't actually evil, you know. Also, I belive R07 asked which characters people wanted in the game through his blog and people voted for these. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to be complaining cause X and Y character aren't in the game (I personally wanted Kinzo in, but that ain't happening.).

Although, that doesn't mean I'm not satisfied with what was delivered to me, since they gave us what they promised us in the first place.


The only 2 reasons you could actually be mad at are:
1) The netcode needs to be worked on a little bit on. Even though it is good, it needs a little bit more of a push to work better for other people. Then again, I think they didn't code it keeping in mind other people outside japan would play it.
2) Trying to get the Main game in order to play the expansion. Right now getting OMK is tough enough, so that's something to be concerned for people who actually want to play the game.
I think they will have to sort out that part, considering the upcomming localization of the Anime on the west, you will probably end up getting quite a bit of an influx about the series. It may be small, but it is still people that would be willing to pay for the game.



I may have drifted for the main topic, but I will just go back and say: B.Battler fits the role perfectly, story wise he was made to be the ultimate culprit of the tale. Featherine is a completely opposite character since she has no presence inside the game itself, it's like adding Zephar and Furfur because they exist.

There has been nothing insinuating that there'd ever be more characters beyond the three added to Cross.

What was promised for this game was:

6 new characters: B.Battler, Will, Lambdadelta, Bernkastel, Erika and Dlanor.
New mechanics into the game.
Fanart in the game.
New options.
new soundtracks.


That's about it, that's all they promised and they delivered. After Bern's patch they said they will stop for the time being since it takes the work of several teams to get things into Ougon.
Consider the following as well, they have to deal with Rose Gun Days, and that takes alot of time.

Now it's time for us to wait until R07 asks his community about what they want in Ougon, more characters or other stuff.

They did do another patch and make a new (but not very good) opening.

My bad, I said Bern patch, meant this patch. The statement said was, Ouverture pointed out, done in Epianime 2012. I belive that happend around the time this patch came out.

Also, they didn't add anything in the game with it. Just several fixes and changes to some characters, that's about it.
