I wondered about that when we saw the bra on the floor. Unfortunately, it seemed to me that there was no clear mention of Touma being on the floor when he found her. He said taoreteita, meaning "collapsed," "fallen," "fallen ill (and gone to bed)," so I think she might have been on the floor and might not. She might have struggled to bed on her own (leaving her clothes lying about). Maybe a real Japanese speaker might get a clearer indication: is that you?

I also think that it's not Haruki who moved her to the bed and changed her clothes, after all Kazusa was not really surprised after she found out that she's on her bed (she just look confused because she saw that dream)
After all if it's Haruki who changed her clothes there's no way that her clothes would be left out on the floor like that....

And can Haruki be any more based? Best MC this season, hands down. No need for any special powers or superhuman abilities, just dole out that swag and watch the ladies swoon. I wouldn't be surprised if Io wants him too.

Poor Setsuna's starting to come undone. She's about two steps shy of turning this into School Days (which would be hilarious since Haruki resembles Makoto ).

I really enjoyed the scene where Haruki just took Setsuna from her class. This episode was again done very very well.

You mean the meaning behind it? or how he knew Kazusa secretly making it and then announced it to Setsuna? If the first of course not, but if the latter one yes, he and Kazusa talked about it Haruki knew that she got it from Takeya too as he said "Kutabare Takeya"

If anyone wonder about the reason why Setsuna become a bit depressed after seeing the lyrics, see my full translation 2 pages before this and think about it, if you happen to forget, watch this series from the beginning again, then maybe you'll understand whose feelings it is and towards whom that feelings are for
but I guess the person whose feelings are being directed doesn't realize it herself

One thing that really hit me hard was the last line Kazusa said before falling asleep.... ugh.....

and a bit refreshing seeing Io in that outfit too lol, Haruki's straight forward act in taking Setsuna "the main sales point in the class" and how Takeya and Io acts after it even though they're a bit surprised but still prevent the classmates to chase after him and something like that

Still, their last song Todokanai Koi feels like it has an "unrequited love" feel to it. On the other hand, is Kazusa's mother coming back to Japan, judging from the train flyer alongside cameo appearances of Yuki and Rina?

No, the introductory chapter goes beyond the school festival. I'm pretty sure it'll take the whole 13 episodes to cover IC.

I feel like a music box that plays the same music over and over again, but seriously, White Album 2 is just so good that it puts to shame every anime TV romance series not named True Tears or ef tale of memories, or movies from a director who is famous for having unrivaled scenery porn and background art (Makoto Shinkai duh). It's turning out to be one of the best love triangles formed in the anime medium with the characters acting with dignity but in very human ways, being assertive, not being Milquetoast and last but not least the music in this series is fantastic and remains a big focal point.

This is what Sakamichi no Appollon of last year should have given me if they wanted to add on the teenage romance elements because although the music in that was also fantastic, it fell quite a bit short in the drama and romance department. I'm not gonna say anymore or repeat any more of what I've said in past weeks since I say the same shit over and over again. But I will say this. If you love music or you love the romance/drama genre and you're not watching this, then what the hell do you think you're doing?

What kind of response do you expect to a question like that? ^_^;

This show is pretty much pure romance, with a bit of comedy and drama in the mix to spice things up. And if you enjoy sensitive character-driven storytelling, then I'd say that this show is absolutely brilliant.

No the anime is correct, but there is a difference.

VN comparison

in the VN Setsuna became moody because Haruki and Kazusa did things on their own again without involving her (making a song)
To smoothen up things Kazusa said they kept it a secret from her because the wanted to surprise her.
She also tells Setsuna, hey, I think this lyrics might have been written for you. (oh how ironic)

in the anime Setsuna reads the lyrics on her own while Haruki rambles on
She has an "oh shit! this is for Kazusa" moment
in the VN it is Takeya who has the "oh shit! this lyrics are for Kazusa not Setsuna" moment in another scene

yeah Haruki and Kazusa told it together, but before Setsuna had even read it she had already become moody as she felt like being left out again and after she read it, I don't really know if she had the same feeling as what the anime told us as the expression of Setsuna was not really being shown in the game.... I just thought that she made Haruki to shut up so that she could immersed faster in knowing the song and remembering the lyrics after all they just had 24 hours

I don't think Shibata-san came when Kazusa collapse.. there's a time difference between the anime and the game when Kazusa collapse and in the anime Haruki just called Shibata-san after he found out about Kazusa's health which made Shibata-san telling him Kazusa's doctor and would bring a dinner for her

I recommend playing the game after the anime ends and not in the middle of like this if someone interested in playing it...

Seeing the anime again really feels good, that red face of Kazusa, it can be interpret as her having fever but also her being embarrassed which makes it so cute~

lol, Setsuna's fake smile at the end was painful to watch. I don't know who's more oblivious Haruki for thinking that no one would notice who he wrote the song for or Kazusa for not realizing it either

Heh, I don't only write hate posts contrary to what people think . When credit is due, I like to praise it just as much, and White Album 2 so far is definitely cream of the crop when it comes to romance/drama genre and one of the best of the season and the year if it keeps up.

No actually. This 13 eps would be Introductory chapter only. But if it would be successful we'll get our CS later.

There is still a significant portion of story after the concert which would be episode 7.
So only IC would be covered.

I do hope season 2 would be produced.

The first season needs to sell first, before a second is made. Just hope that the Japanese otaku fanbase has "good enough taste" to recognise that this is a top tier drama/romance, buy the disks and support a second season. It's in their hands I'm afraid.
