This is the most interesting chapter in months. I'm not sure how they ended up taking a bath together, but I'm loving Mikan's lack of embarrassment. She's probably trying to delude herself into thinking this is normal siblings interaction, but we all know the truth.

Rito talks about the harem in one of the pictures, so it looks like Mikan brought up the subject. She can't be aware of the harem plan so it's most likely an idea she threw around, and Rito, being the idiot he is, got super flustered right away.

Mikan was my fav girl when To love ru is starting, shifted to Momo in darkness because of her ecchi approaches to Rito, seems this chapter will make Mikan again my fav girl, becuase of Rito's "Beast".

This was a marvelous. I never would have thought we'd get Mikan chapters like these 5 years ago. Back in the original series, she was pretty much off-limits. Yabuki and Hasemi have been making up for lost time in Darkness.
Mikan was actually bolder than in doujins in this chapter. It was quite amazing.

The reason she bathed with Rito is because

I've heard rumors it refers to the desire to conceal things partly, in order to let others reach the conclusion under their own power. This is, of course, utter bull-shit, as it would lead to a drastic reduction in fanservice across the industry. An outcome, I think you'll agree, no one would realistically desire.

I'll be really disappointed if they throw the YamixRito situation aside, and don't show any noticeable change in how they treat each other.. but even hell won't be able to contain my rage if they have Rito come to some dense MC rationalization about how Yami wasn't in her right state of mind and her confession was a lie.

except you know very well Yami WASNT in her right state of mind during this whole thing so its not dense MC rationalization

By dense MC rationalization, I meant the way such MC's ALWAYS try to find a way to write off a girls feelings for them, something Rito has done plenty of times. Sometimes it's justified and sometimes it's silly.
Seeing as Yami is indeed in love with him, it'd aggravate me to no end if the author pulled such a thing.

As far as being in love with Rito he's been ignoring the feelings for a long time not much will change plus on the Rito love totem pole Yami is probably about 6 or 7 on the list

The reason she bathed with Rito is because Spoiler: She had caught Momo harassing Rito during his bath these past three days. She wanted to make sure she wouldn't be able to do that again. Little did she know it was all part of Momo's master plan to bring the siblings closer. She had been standing behind the door masturtailing all along. This wasn't just a fanservice chapter. Mikan gave Rito a good scolding and later asked him about his progress with the girls close to him (Lala, Haruna, Yui), telling him he needs to pull himself together already unless he intends to build a harem. This offhand comment made Rito freak out, which might clue Mikan in about what Momo is planning. __________________
