wow, this was incredible. Possibly the best action episode the Naruto series (yes, including part 1) ever had? It also set the record for number of chapters covered in a single episode (about 4).

srsly? i expected less for this episode (coz of not so good animation quality last week and... oh so annoying rapper dude :P).

That's not how it works, actually. When an episode has really bad animation (not that last week's episode did, but anyway) you should expect the following one to have really good animation

Ouh, its not that i think it was baaaad.. i just disliked the style i think.. unmoved layers moving around.. less/bad animation in detail (faces eg)..

This episode was really good! but damn they need a new OST!

It's good to see Sasuke get owned!!

It's expected but by the looks of it the fillers begin next episode

It's been a while since I posted in episode discussion threads.

So anyways, fight scenes were really amazing and breathtaking due to the good animation. I rate it 10/10. Wheeeew.

Noooooooooooooooo!!! Just when I started to watch the anime again because the past filler arc was done and now another one is coming. BUT I expect something good(?) out of this filler arc (if you know what I mean).

Hachibi's 8-sword style couldn't have been made more awesome. SO GLAD to see it animated. I'm lovin' this!

It seems you value the quality of animation over everything else. Yes the episode was great and even breathtaking, but far from many other episodes overall imho.

Episode was amazing, although there was one blaring problem, with such high animation qualties when juxtaposed with not so highly animated things makes it quite obvious, like suigetsu catching the sword, and killer bee attacking karin and the gang was just under animated compared to the rest of the amazingly animated episode.

Wow can't you guys just enjoy the episode without criticizing the animation quality?
Why not just fully enjoy the ep. instead of trying to observe and nitpick at all the little miniscule things.
Sigh...

Ep. was great 10/10...

The eight tails' Killer Bee vs. Sasuke & Co.fight was epic. I enjoyed this episode.

This episode was great...of course they wouldn't show Sasuke missing half his body, but at least they didn't make it look like a scratch like some other anime do*cough,bleach,cough*
The fight was amazing, team Taka finally show their worth by taking down the freakin 8-tails and its host! Although I can safely say they've had better days, judging from their injuries...Sasuke's lucky to have his teammates around him, the comparison to former team 7 was very nice too. Oh, and the rapping got better! 10/10 because I get the feeling we won't be having a decent episode for quite a while...

@James: why did the poll option of Utterly Amazing change to plain amazing after 141?

Would've been perfect except for the two narms.

The first came early on when Sasuke's fighting Killer Bee's unique sword style and makes one hell of a face when he sees Killer Bee's attack from above.

The second cheapens Suigestu's heroic sacrifice somewhat when he turns whitewashed complete with a ridiculous expression.

Plus I wasn't quite feeling the desperation of Team Hawk I felt when i was reading the manga.

The animation was nice and Sasuke got fu**ed two times in a row. Without his teammates he would have been dead meat. Pretty interesting that Killer Bee can step out of Mangekyou Sharingan's powerful genjutsu by utilizing the demon inside of him. Did Suigetsu just survive a blast of a full released demon? Considering Orochimaru's statement, Suigetsu at least seems to have a better constitution than Orochimaru.
