And when Okarin time travels, he changes world lines mentally, not physically. John Titor confirmed that when timelines change, people's memories are altered and have no recollection of the previous timeline. Okarin is the only person ever to have the ability to retain his memories when changing timelines, and because his memories aren't altered, he doesn't have any memories of the new timeline. He physically did tell Ruka about the lotto numbers after he changed world lines, but his unique ability doesn't allow him to remember himself doing that, because he never had memories of himself telling Ruka in the first place.

It's basically the same reason people always eat at WcDonalds in anime. To avoid copyright/slander lawsuits and whatnot. And yeah, it's officially SERN. If you look onscreen at one point you can see it spelled that way in a document (forget exactly where).

A lot to digest from this episode, I'll have to re-watch to try to sort everything out. Suzuha has been the most interesting character to me so far, and I'm enjoying reading everyone's speculation.
Spoiler for My Suzuha speculation:
The additional music this episode certainly changed the mood. I'm not sure if I like it yet or not, the distinct lack of music in earlier episodes contributed to the strange atmosphere of the series. |

Yeah I'm not sure who Suzuha is. She might be Titor, but at the very least it seems like a safe bet to say she's from the future. Maybe she's just one of a few freedom fighters from the future and it's just that John Titor is the most vocal of them . Did enjoy her checking for any signs of brainwashing.
Was nice that Kurisu decided to hang around for a while longer. While I'm sure part of it was not wanting to be lonely in the hotel by herself, part of it probably was being worried about Okabe.

We don't know if the current John Titor is the same as 2000 Titor (no Titor appeared in 2000 in the current world line). It's not necessarily a problem for Suzuha to have been born in 2018. Although it seems too obvious to be true, I do think Suzuha is John Titor. My second choice is Moeka.

Episode 7 was another great episode, and I feel that the plot of this anime is really picking up at just the right time. Almost all of the cast has been fleshed out well by now, and viewers have all had a real chance to gain significant emotional investment in each of them. The dialogue continues to be excellent, but I have to admit that if Episode 7 had lacked serious plot movement, the show would perhaps have lost a bit of its edge. Part of what makes the dialogue so good, in my opinion, is that as the circumstances involving the characters changes, we get to see the wit of the characters displayed against new plot backdrops, keeping everything very fresh.
