My dvd rom needs a upgrade
My dvd rom needs an upgrade. I have some Dvd but my computers doesnt read them. It works on other DVd Rom but not on mine. Where could I get a program that help me update my dvd rom? Can Anyone help me here?

Well find out the company who made it. And try going to their website and find a update to the drivers for your model. If you cant you can buy a Dvd Player/Dual Layer burner for 60 bucks look for NEC (getting one for Christmas
 ).

firmware??
well the thing is I have some files on a dvd rw. I can read them on other computer that doesnt have dvd burner. But my computer thats also doesnt have a dvd burner cant read them, Wicg program can I use to help me read this program. I went to the companyy sote but they couldnt help me><

Maybe someone could tell him where to look for the drive's model (I'll try but the translations will be guestimated)
Right click on My Computer --> Properties--> Hardware --> Device Manager --> DVD/CD-ROM devices. Write down the model and the brand of your drive and post it here. |
