Without watching all posts in this theard, is the manga better then the anime? Well then i would give it a try.

On the contrary, all 4 have been scanned, and I'm fairly certain they were all translated.

I was looking at the new Young Jump releases of the tankoubon and noticed that the seventh volume seems to be a limited edition. I see the word "box," but I'm not sure what everything else is, even with using some online translator (the word "crotch" came up in Babel Fish). Anyone have an idea exactly what this is?

EDIT: Never mind.

I just assumed it was a collectors box for the manga. I don't know If thats right though.

I have the first Manga thingii, But I never really coght onto it. Maybe it was because I watched some of the anime. Its just.. Not my taste of anime. Dx Does it get better after the first few mangas though? If it does then I'll start getting them again. ^^

Hm, I never noticed this in the un-colored version in Volume 3. Goes to show that I need to be more observant of manga illustrations, colored or not, instead of jumping right to the words.

I quite like how the story is being set out and bridged across from the first series. In this new universe, Jun's act to not wind Shinku meant that the RM lost their existance. It's strange but I'm not show how he was able to change something so drastic. It's almost as if Jun as the one who was definitely needed to bring about their existance or something (who's to say that someone else might have winded the dolls even if Jun didn't). But it is great to see Gin sama again...and being in her complete form surprisingly. Join Date: Dec 2006	i've read up to the translated 5th tale and i must say. im beginning to like this continuity in a different setting in order to clear my mind of various possibilities and observations about this serial, i wrote down a HUGE rant x_x Spoiler: 1) jun shimada didnt change his name. he just used the family name of the guy that lived on the apartment before him. also it seemed that this jun somehow managed to get over his highschool self and move into college which would lead me to point (2) 2) jun-2 has a new set of problems on his own. while they are similar with the old jun, their only difference is that this new jun seems to be hoping to change his world while the previous one (jun-1) already despaired 3) i think that what happened back then was that jun managed to fight off kira with kanaria's help, when she just broke shinku enabling him to gather some of her pieces. he must've found a way because of holie's guidance and was able to device a plan... however, there seems to be a contradiction mentioned when jun-1 and shinku said that her body now isnt her real body implying that it could be jun-1 who created the fake body while the real body has been dismantled by kira. if shinku came back to her dismantled body then she would've legally lost the alice game and had her mystica absorbed by kira... 4) it may also be that jun-1 didnt fight kira much even with kanaria's aid, or rather, was unable to. it seems like jun bargained something with her instead of beating her up since jun was able to export some parts of shinku undetected. if kira was too strong for jun to handle then the only way jun could win is to have her stop the offensive which would be when there is a bargain of some sort 5) jun-1 said that kira made replicas of shinku and has trapped suigintou and suiseiseki in an N-field with no exit. she also seems to be targeting mediums instead of dolls. i think her current plan is to experiment on how to make dolls on her own...? its like she's using shinku as a model for her doll creation while observing suigintou and suiseiseki on some isolated n-field like lab rats... that's just some random thought though 6) it's like jun is a prisoner that bribes his warden in order to hire someone from the outside to kill the warden. when the warden found out about it, things seemed to look bad for jun 7) shinku seemed envious of tomoe when she told jun-2 that jun-1 also fell in love with a girl that caused him his downfal? 8) the probability of kira sending jun-2 the fake box is high along with the depressing message in ch. 5... it seems that kira has been observing jun-2 for any sign of weakness as hinted by the rose vines wrapped all over him reflected on the mirror, it seems that kira has finally had him under her control 9) this RM tale might be short lived depending on what happens within 6 days. with jun-2's thoughts at the end of ch. 5, it could be that a) he'll make another doll which is a replica of kirakishou pawning gin and shinku b) he'll do something that would make shinku stay permanently in his world c) the time limit expires and shinku returns to her dismantled self d) the time limit expires, shinku's original body fades and shinku clone stays in alternate universe 10) however in its own respect, this alternate jun seems to be able to grasp the concept of him being able to change with the help of jun-1. oddly enough, it is because of jun-1 that jun-2 is falling into despair again. this was evidenced when shinku woudl always compare jun-2 to jun-1 and how shinku matter-of-factly insists that jun-2's world sux and that it would never change no matter what he does. 11) still, anything major could happen within 6 days. jun-2's hikikomori fits might be resolved during that span, nabbing himself a girlfriend and whooping that annoying manager's ass (he pisses me off so bad)
