Gundam - Music discussion (OP/ED & OST, etc.)

My fav tracks are:

00 Gundam: Best Gundam Debut + Heroic Music, what's not to love?

Interception: I love the pace of the music which itself shows how hectic the situation is.

Affection: Very soothing, fits my tastes.

A-Laws: Very military-ish music, love the lady's voice.

Strike: GATTAI!!

Determination: The violin goes well with them drums

Restart: Goes well with Exia's appearance... and defeat.

Take Off: I fell in love with the heroic-ish melody.

Innovator: Not bad at all, the lady did quite well.

Power Attack: Love the part where Exia appears before Saji.

Unified World: A slower version of A-Laws, but still pleases my ears.

The Ballroom track sure gives me the castlevania vibe

Wow, Innovator is downright beautiful as a track. Too bad the Innovators themselves don't quite live up to the grandeur of the song. It makes it out like they are to be saviours and maybe that was their original prerogative. Maybe it's meant to be juxtaposed with the actual real thing, I'm not sure until we see more of what Ribbons and Regene are really after.

Yep, a minor downfall for me, but at least it's included in the middle part of the music.

It's the background: The one on the debut launch had the background accompaniment removed, and only the violin (or cello) part playing, at least up until the choir part (which would be when the 00 leans forward to launch in the episode). The "true" version of the track is played in episode 3.

I know!!! I can't stop listening to it! Kawai Kenji blended this song perfectly with the scene of the Ptolemy and the Meisters getting ready to rescue Allelujah. The best parts is the electric guitar and the part right afterwards when the Gundams rise into the launch catpult and finally the ending when Setsuna learns that Marina is imprisoned and the Ptolemy starts it's entry into the atmosphere. It's like he wrote this piece of music just for this scene. It fits perfectly!

As the name explains, it's a piece of music that will fit with a take-off sequence. I've tried it with a few others, and they match perfectly.
