Sailor Moon Live Action [FanDub]

I was surprised to see this listed. Does anyone have any opinion on it?

I'm tempted to give it a try. But I'm a bit suspicious after the Naruto FanDub.

Marisol!! Yanita here ^^ well, back to topic, I see this fandub in the recently added list if you want to try it. It´s under the name "*Sailor Moon - Live Action 1 - Final version (Fan Dubbed) *Desolate Sailors Inc "

I saw the previous one and well...I supposse it was not that bad but it sure seemed to me a little bit strange (leave apart the fact that some of the voices were recorded with very low quality).

IMO it is awful. I am not a fan of dubs so that could just be that talking.

I can imagine how bad it is... the common commercial anime dub is already so awful it makes your ears bleed when listened to for too long, and this is probably even worse

There is a forum for re-seed quests. You as a JR member should know this. So I wonder what your real reason for asking for it in this thread is?

Yes I am a JR member, that was my first post ever on this forum. It's safe to assume that I don't know all the rules yet, at least it's safe to assume for rational people. Go build up your post count elsewhere.

I haven't downloaded it yet, but I think I will. ^^ Why would it be bad? The fans probably understand the characters better than the people who dubbed the Sailor Moon anime. I won't have an opinion on it before I watch it.. And, that's something I'd like to do. I'd like to dub anime or live actions! That sounds like a lot of fun..

I downloaded the first version of this dub and it was really bad. Technically bad -- I didn't even get far enough to evaluate all the voices. So unless someone tries it and says the sound quality is decent, I won't bother.

There's some other group that was working on one of the later episodes, which seemed pretty good. Haven't heard anything about them recently though. (They released two clips)

Well this doesn't have anything to do with bad dubs. But of course it doesn't since the original series was anime

Well, not silenced. But definetly crying out.

And I log into Animesuki to find the Desolate Sailors put out Episode 2 of their fan dub. Got my question answered. For my health, I'm not going to be watching it.

Bad dubs aside they changed the title of the show. They changed the lyrics to the opening song. Every voice has an echo. And there is more emotion in the voice acting to Resident Evil 1 than this.
