Make your own shuriken
remember the days of making swans and aeroplanes out of paper
well now you can make your own shurikens out of paper. I'm talking about the 5-star knife things they use in Naruto. so heres the guide in spoiler tags (so it dosnt take up to much space) Spoiler for How to make a Shuriken:
believe me, if you throw it right, it flys through the air. Also, according to mom it can hurt (gotta have target practice...and it aint worthwhile if you don't use moving ones ) so make them, attack your friends and become a NINJA P.S. no one say anything about this thread belonging in the "You know you've watched too much Naruto when...you make a shuriken out of paper" thread. EDIT ------> yay i got the hang of it and made a multicoloured shuriken... Last edited by kakashilion; 2004-06-06 at 10:05. |

I used to make these when I was in elementary school. My friends and I would make like a bag of it and we'd just try to hit each other with it, running around the school yard frisbeeing these suckers and dodging it. OH YEAH! HOKAGE LEVEL SHURIKEN BATTLE!

If the prongs are bent, it won't fly straight. I, personally, used to be able to hit a target from across the class room. Of course, I have not bothered with such since I got out of elementary school. |

I used to make these all the time and throw them at kids in class when the teacher wasn't looking, or if I was gonna be real devious I'd throw them at the teacher when he/she wasn't looking. I remember getting suspended once because the teacher turned just as I threw it and it whacked him right square in the nose.

Hehe.
Years ago i build myself a REAL shuriken(or should it be shaken, i always forget which one is which). 3mm Steel disc, 8cm outer radius, 1 cm inner radius, and a lot of patience. result: The baby whacked 1-2 cm into hard wood (neigbours barn gate) thrown with as little force as a grad school kid has. I guess thrown by an adult it could REALLY hurt someone (although hardly kill) |

They showed a scene where a guy threw two cards with enough force to cut a banana into 3 pieces. Also burst a water balloon above the crowd as welll. Crazy stuff |
