Not that it matters since Gowther is going to completely wreck them in five seconds. His powers allow him to render his opponents unconscious easily.

But that power requires the enemy to be under gowthers powerlvl, escanor in sunmode is way above him even at the earliest beginning

Truth be told, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to let Escanor power up at his leisure. I mean, true to his sin, he becomes much more arrogant the stronger he gets, after all. And his pride may grow to the point that he becomes a danger to both friend and foe alike (in fact, I'm pretty sure that's why Merlin had him knocked out in the Edinburgh story). So yeah, as disadvantageous as it may be for him to be a weakling at night, that's probably for the best if it'll keep him under control.

Yeah, that's certainly that too. That guy is weird like that: at night, he's a weakling who can't do anything; but in the day, he's an arrogant prick whose pride keeps increasing the stronger he gets (and his power increases as the sun goes higher up in the sky), at which point he can be a danger not only to himself but also to his allies.

But still, I think it might preferable to some extent to let him power-up so he can take out the enemies. Then just knock him out right afterwards.

I think it might be a bit difficult to knock him out once he powers up...but his ultimate strength is indispensable as a reversal to game-breakers (most likely the 2-3 top TC).

Zaratras isn't dead as I suspected when he didn't show up in Fraudrin's nightmares. Coinciding with the appearance of the enigmatic Gilfrost (whose name seems to be made-up on the spot btw) this is getting really interesting.

the only strange thing is that gilfrost seems to be a magician instead of a holy knight :/
maybe he changed jobs? (but i doubt it is so easy :/ )

True, the last thing any of the Sins need is having to deal with an OP vampire that has Gilgamesh's ego.

Not fully confirmed yet, but a spoiler summary's out, along with a few pics:

In the pics, Jericho questions Gowther's desire to gain a heart by hurting his comrades in battle, saying it will only lead to him hurting himself (as she had when she gained the demon powers). Meanwhile, Hawk scans both their power levels, with Gowther being at 3100 and Jericho at 280. Hawk believes himself to have a power level of 100,000 due to him now having magic powers, lol. As for Escanor, he tries to talk Dolor into letting him leave the tournament, but when he's refused, asks to have the rules changed instead, as he can't bear to hurt his comrades.....


As far as the summary's content goes, Gowther apparently goes into a crazed state, asking if a comrade is something delicious. He then knocks down both Hawk AND Jericho, and shows Escanor a nightmare. The nightmare involves him being abandoned by Merlin and sinking into darkness..... or at least, that was supposed to be the case. But he sees Merlin as his own personal sun. This being the case, it turns out that Gowther's nightmare has awakened the "inner sun" within the Sin of Pride! Escanor then tells Gowther that he'll make him atone for the sin of toying with his heart....!!!



^Well, if that summary is true, then..... well, it sure is a coincidence that we were just talking about Escanor powering up at any time during these last few posts....

seems like escanor could have turned into super-mode whenever and whereever he wants XD

i hope we will get a flashback about why escanor is so in love with merlin

And yeah, that moon analogy with the Saiyans is great for this case. I can agree with that. The difference is that the Saiyans created an artificial moon to go into Oozaru mode whenever they liked, whereas Escanor has an "inner sun" that he can use.

Stands for "imbalanced", used to describe a character whose powers need tweaking in order to be within reasonable levels. As for Escanor...well, he pays a heavy price for that power, even if it's usually someone else carrying his weapon.
