That was before, right after he made Turn A. Nowadays all he's saying is that he's going to let the younger generation tackle the franchise. So it looks like he is more accepting of the fact that Bandai/Sunrise runs the series, not him...

I'm looking for the name of a certain piece of music during G Gundam. It plays several times in the series, but one particular moment that comes to mind is near the end of episode 44:
Spoiler:
Anyone happen to know it? edit- never mind, found it. Last edited by Rawinder; 2009-10-02 at 21:40. |

This....has always had me curious. How does Gundam style doujinshi/hentai get made without Sunrise suing whoever publishes them? Over here in the US, lets say...someone made a naughty cartoon with...Superman and Mary Jane, and sold it for money. DC and Marvel Comics would get on their asses like white on rice. What is the issues with copyright laws and what not concerning Gundam?
Surely Sunrise would be disgusted to see their characters doing such acts. Especially with 00, I gotta admit, I've seen some stuff with Sumeragi, I don't think Mizushima would approve. |

I can't be sure, but I don't think written works break Japanese copyright. Manga has always been able to use characters and products that have to be replaced in anime versions, such as Photoshop in the Negima! manga changed to Photoshock in the anime version.
