Well we haven't seen the results yet. It could be like me when I drink coffee, the thing suppose to wake me up yet I don't feel a thing when I drink it. I highly doubt that B-Vitamins are a source of Sacred Power. I like the idea of friendship and kindness being a source you know the mushy stuff.

Demon Lord's power source is the opposite of mushy which is hard for him to gain any power since despite being a Demon Lord he seems like a nice guy (dense however of women's feelings though these days it has become a norm for Romances to have a dense character, please no comparison of a certain 15 years old protagonist of a series who is the only male to have a mecha which worked only for girls).

I don't think he's actually dense (note that he acknowledged that he was on a date with Chiho back in episode 3) but rather simply indifferent about it. After all he's a demon AND he's 300 years old AND has a kingdom to run. Mushy love really just doesn't seem like his priority at the moment.

You know you are right, indifferent is well new word for Japanese anime Romance protagonists. Usually when it comes to Romance, the male protagonist has only two options, one is that he is devoid of any sensors for detecting female feelings or the other which is to realize the female feelings but to be scared like a chicken being chase by farmers who want to make fried chicken out of it to take any action.

If he is indifferent, then I am loving his character even more.

Episode 7 seemed to go on for a long while, and lots of content.
Felt the most 'sitcom-y' episode yet, in a good way.

Loved when Emi hit maou even though it was her fault, and she ended up getting hurt from it as well when Maou dropped her lol.

Also, Sacred Power in energy form? That's unexpected. Now if they could make Demon Energy Drinks, Maou will be set. Wonder what happen if Emi overdoses.

Chi showing up and lunchbox scene was good. Almost forgot she existed lol.

Didn't expect the fight at the end in the convenience store.

I like how every line from an outsiders perspective, it looks like Emi and Maou are lovers.

After episode 7, I'm just curious who the neighbor is. Hails from a family from a faraway land? I'm guessing she's from Ente Isla?

I thought it was pretty obvious that the neighbour was the 'inquisitor' from last episode. Heck, the misunderstood convesation between Emi and her is another hint, as Emi was obviously talking about romance, but she was talking about her secret identity.

Took her 7 episodes to realize that, God knows how long for her to begin to realize that she's falling in love with him.

What sort of Japanese is Suzuno speaking in when she meets Maou? The grammar structure she’s using seems extremely different from standard spoken Japanese.

Man, I love Hikasa's voice as Emi so much. My favourite was when she was banging on their door, screaming threats and the next moment she was crying when they didn't let her in
