Oh man, that episode was cute. Producer's such a badass now; he's taking punches and stepping up like a boss.
As per usual: Episode 17: A Princess in Disguise And oh, I kinda worked on this a bit more, got a little distracted with other stuff recently. Spoiler for Ami-chaaaan~:

Honestly though, while Makoto in a sundress is always nice to look at, one particular ED shot made my jaw drop:
Spoiler for Stitched:
Makoto, now THAT is how you do a princess, instead of going the Mahou Shoujo route

So Jupiter is finding it's MILF housewife demographic getting stolen away from them by Makoto. It's questionable if Mokoto is happy about having their attention.
Poor Makoto. she's such a mensch! She just can't help it. (maybe it's because her hat is so huge!) Also, it seems that Producer has leveled up allot since that last encounter. He's really keeping his cool far better now.

Omg this ep..THIS EPISODE. Loved every second.
It made me hnnng, squeal, smile, say, "oh shit!" and it didn't have 961 fuck things up. That's how things should go. LOVE Makoto~~~~ x3 Also forgot to mention Honeyducer's transformation to Manducer in this ep. |

This was a good episode. Nothing too complicated or too sad or anything like that, just a simple HNNGH Makoto episode.
Though it looks like they're slowly working up to Chihaya's episode. That phone call...her mother? I wonder how hard hitting its going to be. The producer has really manned up the last few episodes...yeah, it only took half the series but its fine. *reminiscences about early comments on the Producer of the earlier episodes* Mhm, I sound hypocritical. Oh that Miki-Miki, looks like she's not completely sure about her sexuality. "Dont take Miki's Makoto-kun", "Makoto-kun is taking honey...?" . LOL Loved the ED, both the song "Cheering Letter" and the images. I never thought that I'd hear "MILF" associated with iM@S. Oh no, wait, there's Ai's mother, Mai, from Dearly Stars...

I've only watched episodes 1 & 2 of this series. Spoilers be damned, can anyone tell me if:
-It gets a plot soon -It gets rid of the HURR ALL GUYS ARE PERVERTS crap -The girls are shown actually singing on a regular basis -Most of the girls have/get boyfriends Cause if it's just one of those "cute girls ding cute things" anime, I don't think I'll continue.

2) <.> Derp, Like other ppl I don't think I can understand what your saying. From the two episode that you mention watching there's nothing that hints at that. Yeah there are are few instances like Azusa showing a pose for an audition or the youngest idols trying to be sexy in a naive/innocent way. If you think this show would feature fanservice or ecchiness, it's the wrong show. 3) Idols in Japan aren't dedicated singers like AD mentioned. They are more like jack-of-all-trades of the entertainment industry from singing to acting to modeling. But anyways, all episodes feature at least an insert song or more as well as different ending songs each episode. But if you really seek to watch them singing and/or dancing, let's see, ep3, 4, 6, 7, 11, 12 and especially 13. 4) Nope they don't have, the closest you can get is some of them flirting with the producer. Also a lot of real idols and celebrities in Japan try to keep their relationships a secret. Like they say fans are pretty jealous and aren't keen on seeing their female idols with a boyfriend. And finally, although it shows many aspects of young girls aiming to be successful idols in the entertainment industry and the many aspects of it in an Anime way, in the end you'd say it's a cute girls doing cute things. Based from what we have wrote, you can make your own decision, but I think you might be better dropping this one, not like we want people coming back complaining later that they wasted their time, cough like the first 30-40 pages of this thread and a few instances recently cough. |
