Apparently not. To me, the volumes started to lose their funny-ness as it continued, but funny nevertheless.

Hey, Houko Kuwashima also get her characters killed. considering she's supposed to be Fukuda's "favorite" female seiyuu or whatever, her characters always die. Both Fllay Allster and Stellar Loussier are members of the EAF, as well as Kira's mom, and Natarle Badriguel. Funny how Kira couldn't think of Fllay's voice as his mother's, whereas Fllay thought of Rau's voice as her father's (considering they're done by the same seiyuu).

I Like Kira and Cagalli if they weren't siblings, if you get what I mean Tak. They're absolutely perfect for each other. And besides, we all know that Cagalli had the hots for Kira the first time she saw him. And I also notice that being a cousin or a relative of somebody a guy or girl is attracted to in anime is quite okay (remembers seeing this mostly forgotten anime where there were 4 guys and the main hero of the story has a love interest named Matsuri, his cousin). Then, there's Ayashi No Ceres. So maybe it's quite OK...I think... And maybe it's just me.

@tritoch: Just loved those frame shots, especially the Band of Brothers one since that was my favorite TV show and the book.

@Eidolon Sniper: Poor Fllay...no wonder she hated the Coordinators after being sexual abused by Lacus (who also took her dear Kira away) and the same kind of people killed her father.


About the filial incest thing: out of the anime, there have been stories that depicted sister-brother incest like Oldboy (which also had the element of father-daughter incest) and in the anime series Elfen Lied, the cousin of the main character had fallen in love with him and eventually kissed (perhaps an oepn-mouthed kiss) on a rainy day.

Also, it is quite legal for first cousins to get married with each other in some states of America, and (I believe) legal in every province (wrong wording I s'pose) in Japan. This is probably related when I heard from my history lecture that the Japanese royal family married their own cousins continuously to keep their genetic pure from others.

Ah, you can always check out Angel Sanctuary. One of my favorite manga of all time (although it is Shoujou).

Yeah, I have noticed that quite a few anime seem to have cousins as potential lovers a lot of the time...another one being Elfen Lied...after you watch a lot of the anime, you get engrossed in the backstory that you almost forget that those people were related o_O
