The only thing that I thought was more funny than the Love HIna anime (not including FLCL) was the 2600 pages of Love Hina's manga (it is really worth it!).

for some old classics i suggest ranma 1/2. for recent stuff i really like maburaho and hajime no ippo has some funny moments. You could also try cromartie. if i think of anything else i'll add some more.

ok thanks ive already watched golden boy before and it was great.. too short tho.. didnt hajime no ippo get liscensed? Where can i get the love hina manga?

An anime that made me laugh alot was Matantei Loki Ragnarok, Mayura is great. Some other anime that is really funny is Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu w/Deluxe and Final. Azumanga Daioh is great too. Oh can't forget Abenobashi. If you liked Love Hina that much, then i think you would like Ai Yori Aoshi as well. Not quite as funny as LH, but i still really enjoyed it.

Sorry, but Maburaho annoys the hell out of me, but i do think you might like it.

And of course the classic that paved the road for Love Hina's and such, Tenchi Muyo! and it incarnations.

Oh god why, how in the blue hell did i forget GTO. It literally had me in tears in just about every episode. A definite must see for any comedy fan.

Yes! Azumanga Daioh is da king! Sorry could it...

Anyway, I would recommend Ah My Goddess!. Like Love Hina, I mean the manga since the AMG oavs were too short though the movie wasn't too bad. Parody shows like Excel Saga and Nadesico can be pretty fun to watch as well.

Love Hina manga is licenced by Tokyopop in the US.

Older series (80's and only watch if you can accept the art quality of the era):
Kimagure Orange Road
Takahashi Rumiko's works (Uresei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, etc)
Lupin III

Poptan has some funny bits..
and ummm maburaho has some funni parts aswell...
Btw rizelmine theres been a few probs with the lats few ep's in series 2..

I hafta agree with chimp that golden boy is one hell of a funny series....

As for FLCL, i think that will cause more confusion than make you laugh....

Wow i was seriously forgetful last night. Another must see and is probally my favorite comedy series is the Slayers. Season 1 is funny and has its serious moments. Season 2 was more serious but still had its funny moments. But season 3 had some serious moments but was by far the funniest of the 3. All 3 seasons just had me cracking up. Season 3 has to be my favorite and boy i can't wait for season 4, which was announced yay!

GTO is more then cool is awsome. And the status of it is licenced. But you know, there is always "other" ways to see it
