So if Saten is supposed to be another god. Why wasn't there another reaction when Blade head banged him like we saw when he did it to Arclight? It seems like this climax is a little forced.

Here's my hypothesis why Blade didn't have more Fragments when he headbanged Saten. I think Blade has to "know" about the fragments for him to use it. For example, if A stole B's backpack (which contains a handgun), A won't use the handgun in B's bag if he doesn't know that it's there and he didn't find it.

One question though, can Saten really be counted as a God? He isn't a clone of the Second like Blade or Arclight. Rather, he was a normal person that just happened to gain the zero fragment. By this criteria, he technically wouldn't be considered by the world as a God, and therefore no reverse refusal reaction would occur.
Of course, this might bring up Cruz getting an ability since he now has Eve's doppleganger cells inside him and might now power up a la Saten.

Also, just because there are changes doesn't exclude the possibility of a second season. I can see them turning everything into a dream, with the second season starting with Cruz

I think everybody will give their powers to Blade or something and he goes super mode to win and the end. Shame Cruz being the main character only narrated parts of the anime. I don't think Cruz does much aside talking or giving some drama to the fight.

Unfortunately Needless doesn't seem to have much of a fanbase so I doubt Madhouse bothers to make a second season. Sucks needless will pass down in anime history as a lesser know anime.

My only regret is that Cruz never got part into the action (aside being pounded around by the bad guys) I would have killed to see him as a Needless (Also sucks the Ultima rumour was false.)

It's a shame how damn obvious this is anime original, though episode 23 was still pretty fun. The return of you know who made me laugh, and the death of Saten was handled pretty well, what with his last speech and all.

I don't see why Arclight couldn't have absorbed Riru to begin with. Silly anime original leaving plot holes.
