Okay, for the latest chapter:

Spoiler for 324:

There was no need for Hayate to lie to Luca, since she didn't even approach him. On the day before, the thought that since Hayate was doing so much for her, the least she could do was to wait for her (Hayate) and thank her for what she was doing. And thus, we ended up with the scene of Luca seeing Hayate in butler clothes.

Anyway, since she didn't approach him at that moment, she decided to pay a visit to the place Hayate was living in. Maria was there, bored because there was no one else. When Luca showed up, she thought she was there for Chiharu, but Luca told her this time she came to pay a visit to Hayate-san. Maria immediately realised Hayate was involved in a cross-dressing issue. Luca told her if Hayate was into cross-dressing. She thinks Hayate may have a hobby in which she dresses like a guy. Maria realised she could easily tell her that Hayate is indeed a guy, but also noticed the situation was rather complicated so she decided to play along. However, she didn't particularly lie to Luca. She said Hayate may indeed wear butler's clothes, and that Hayate may cross-dress, but she wasn't sure. Luca asked her if there was a way for her to confirm this and Maria said there was. She then gave Luca some female Hakuou uniform and told her Hayate was in Hakuou. She gave her the uniform so that she could enter.

When Luca went there, she wondered if she looked like a high-schooler. She ended up catching a baseball and some guys ask her if she could throw it back to them. One of them asked if there was a girl that cute in school and the other one said this is the time he's seen her. Then Luca kept on walking, wondered if there may be some fans of her in that school. At that point she remembered Chiharu was a member of the student council and that the room for it was on the top of the tower. At this point we switch to Hayate and Hina, and Hina was telling him that every day while he's already doing his job as a butler, he's also working a part-time job and that he also had to go to school. So, if on top of that, he's also doing the physical manager job of an idol, she told him he'd die. However, Hayate told her he was perfectly fine. Hina told him that even if he said that, he's still doing things that are not healthy. She told him that, on the other side, there was a napping room and that he should rest there. Hayate wanted to protest, but Hina ordered him to go there. As he went out, he thought Hina was really worried for him. He also thought this was the first time he had heard of a napping room in Hakuou and that he had no idea there was a such a room in the clock tower. He thought there may be a big public bath and that he may get a long-awaited bath. At this point we see Luca is finally in front of the clock-tower.

The final comment says something like. "We all love bath. There's no need to deny that. However, for the newly established girl who likes to cross-dress as a guy bad things are awaiting in front of the bath.

It should have ended when Luca was mounted on Hayate a few chapters back.

Unless there's some cliche ecchi antics with Hayate's towel falling off when he's not in the bath and Luca sees his crotch, she won't find out.

hmm, bath scene..... If you are looking for people in a new place, will you go into bath to find them? I figure it will go like this: when hayate goes into the bath, either Hina's sister or the baka-trio are there. Hayate will be kicked out half naked, and then run into Ruka.

I've been wondering for a while now, but is "-san" normally an honorific for females? I assumed it was gender neutral, but Maria caught on when Luca said "Hayate-san".

I thought it might have been an honorific change but I don't think Luca has ever called Hayate by name besides simply saying it when she first found out he was called Hayate. She didn't use an honorific there though so the distance increased?

I'm almost certain Maria thought Luca believed Hayate was a girl when she said Hayate-san.

It should be gender-neutral. So what caught Maria's attention was the fact that Luca used "-san" instead of "-kun", which is used by almost everyone who knows Hayate. In other words, I believe it is the absence of "-kun" rather than the usage of "-san" that is key.

I believe Luca was just being polite when she inquired about Hayate, that's why she used an honorific.
