the weird part is volume 3 and 4 seem like they should be 1 volume because of the way the chapters are noticed. same way as 6 and 7 look like they should be. it will be very interesting either way.

The more pressing concern is to be able to live a normal life first...?

Considering that DAL was 17th in volumes of LNs sold last year, and was popular enough to warrant an anime after only 2 volumes of the LN were released, it should be popular enough to have a second season. But you never know what they might be thinking. And even if there's a second season there's no guarantee that the pacing problem would be fixed.

So all we can do is to cross our fingers and hope for the best.

Not really, it's done to signify one arc that's too big to fit into one volume so we need to split it into 2 volumes. If it's as you say, then going by chapter numbering alone, the entire Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu LN series should be in one big volume. I find that idea ludicrous at best.

The Kurumi and Kotori (sub-)arcs are combined into one big arc, and each (sub-)arc fills up 1 volume, hence 2 volumes. The Miku arc is long so it needed to be split into 2 volumes. Notice the lack of epilogues for volumes 3 and 6, and the lack of prologues for volumes 4 and 7.

Because of the pacing they really didn't need to create an anime original episode. It would have been better if they did that at the final episode.

Can someone remaind me of the yamai twins which one is kaguya and wich one is yuzuru? i forgot it. If you dont know hot to tell you can just use the breast size to tell them apart XD

Methinks the anime original episode was to let us rest from the main plot a bit before the Kurumi arc, because things get really bad there.

Now how it got so damaged when Reine said it just stopped working is anyone's guess. In volume 5 Tohka is not reacting to them kissing as she seemed to have missed that part but the twins freak out while saying things like “Shedding tears. After Shidou looked towards Tohka direction, his words turned unclear. Tohka, looked back at him unhappily.

“Si,since I have to make plenty of preparations. So we’ll do it quickly tomorrow’s morning, please wait a little longer”

As expected, he can’t do it in front of Tohka. Shidou made a random excuse.

I read that part again, and you might be right. Maybe I was wrong about what she doesn't know. In fact she may even have known it from the time he sealed her powers, just that she doesn't want to accept it. However I'm sure that there's something about sealing a Spirit's powers that she doesn't know. That it strips them, maybe? Though the reason why she was unhappy at that point could still be because she'll have to deal with more love rivals in future lol (once he seals their powers they'll be competing for his love on equal ground), which would mean I'm right.

In all honesty, Tohka's power/angel reminds me of Ichigo's Zangetsu. I don't know why but I just get that feeling/thought.

Metal? Her angel is the throne she pulls her sword from, that its ultimate form ataches to her blade as well as the "surf board" Shidou uses in vol 2. All of these seem to have a blade theme.
