So... they want an excellent adviser for Nagi so she can quickly catch up within 2 months. Somehow Hina, who managed to push Ruka so far in a few days, doesn't qualify?

I think it was okay, but I hope the second round of the whole mangaka deal is left for later and Hata goes back to the Yozora Housen plot that we saw at the beginning of this arc, or the Athena/Alice bit.

Luka had a highly professional attitude and was fully willing to cooperate and listen to Hina. I have a hard time seeing Nagi being able to do the same...

Just marathoned the whole thing and thoroughly enjoyed it,slapstick humpur is my favorite, I find this arc to be a development for Nagi's character after the loss of the inheritance which I think is a nice shift from just lots of comedy.

Even though this was a cooldown chapter, Maria demonstrates the problem with going on strike: it doesn't work if you can be replaced with someone just as good or better.

And Nagi is more entertaining when she's blunt.

Oh man, Maria is such a hnnnngh character. I don't usually focus all that much on her but this chapter went straight for the weak spot.

Don't really see a better place to put this, but I found this humorous. Just received volume 18 of the licensed manga (just came out a week or so ago), and they've either had this printed for a long time and just hadn't released it, or no one cared enough to change the "upcoming volume" page. Says Volume 19 will come out in November 2011, yet all solicitations on actual sites say February 2012.

Just found it a bit amusing is all.

Ah well. Hata already wrote on his blog that we'd get several "oh look this character needs some screentime, so let's toss one chapter his/her way" entries now, so there we go.

That's the problem when a show went on too long with too many characters. It's just sad that while Izumi as part of the baka trio was fun, her good results in the popularity contests made Hata give her a more prominent role - but I don't think it improved things at all.

Usually chapters like these elicited at least 1-2 chuckles from me. This time I barely even smiled ^_^;

Chapter 338 was pretty dull. That Hinaemon bit made me chuckle, though

look at the bright side Izumi, at least you didn't score zero over and over!!!

Was it Hayate who called Hina "Hinaemon"? The only other person there was Izumi and she was the one complaining about being passed off to someone else.

Hayate called Hina Hinaemon, because the subject that Izumi is failing is Japanese history. (Implementing an immersion strategy for Izumi's tutoring, I presume.) A rather cute joke, I admit.

I dunno, guys. I enjoyed this chapter. Even though I would not be particularly fond of Izumi being forced down our throats as a serious addition to Hayate's harem, I am not really worried that that will be the case yet.
