Why do people say this? This has the LOWEST possible probablility, and would be very poor story telling on kishi's part. I SERIOUSLY doubt that when Kakashi was rescued by the 4th he would be like "oh yea I'm half uchiha now, and yea obito died but lets not go back for his body or anything cuz I'm not gonna tell you where it is and it's not like you'd want to get it or anything. . . ." ANYWAY, for Cmart: Danjo is some old shinobi who was gonna be 3rd hokage, but sarutobi was picked instead (prolly cuz the counsil members were in his 3 man cell). Afterwards he formed an eliete super bad ass hardcore Anbu squad call ROOTS, who follow the rule that a shinobi is an emotionless tool. He sent Sai into Team 7 to assasinate sasuke and give orochimaru information about all current anbu members. Personally I like this part of the arc and am a little dissapointed they are focusing on sasuke right now instead of the political intreauge of the most powerful ninja village.

Its looks like ur a bias Danzo fan lol... 3rd was elected cause he deserved it... He was 1 of the strongest shinobi ever... Danzo wasn't ready for any sacrificing stuff

It's was a bit of an exaduration on how good roots is. It's still just anbu, but it's supposed to be stronger and more ruthless than regular anbu. Since there is no real info on Danzo, I can't say how he compares in strength to anyone, but the fact that he was considered for hokage is pretty signifigant. Also he's missing an eye and an arm, so you know he knows how to scrap. Other than that, he seems somewhat like oro without the crazyness. Very cold methodical and without concience.

What I'm truly a fan of however is good story. This crap with sasuke is pissing me off. If he had just collected some mystery freaks, and poped up later to show he was on akatsuki lvl then it would have been better. Instead we are treated to crappy sasuke battle we already know he's gonna win and live thru while Better story is to be had at Akatsuki central, and in Konoha with Danzo giving away secrets to enemies.

Danzo was giving secrets about ANBU to Oro. Oro's gone. And what's left of Oro (in Kabuto) is trying to kill Sasuke then Naruto. So, that plotline has ended.

The REASON danjo was giving secrets to oro hasn't really been revealed. The basics were that

but that doesn't justify giving away all anbu info for one rouge ninja. And if danjo's plotline has ended after 2 issues of his apperance that would be the crappiest thing ever(crappier than jar jar binks).

The real question is what the hell was danjo playing at? It's already been said that he wants to be hokage so WTF is he gonna do about it. This has the most relevence with naruto becoming future hokage.

If Tobi is realy Obito, this Mask could be feeting his sharingan with power, so that his eye doesn´t get worse from using MS, like Itachi´s. That way, he could even use MS more frequently and us it as his "standard move/state".

Did anyone else notice something peculiar about Tobi in manga chapter 357? He's seemed almost automatonic when he sort of just shrugged off Sasuke's attack. It did not seem like something a normal human, or even special human would've reacted like.

Expecting obito to be tobi, the mask with only one eye hole seams to be pointing to where his powers come from (Speculation of course), probably will be kakashi's adversary, as for him being alive we've seen worse as for exemple chioba trasfering her lifeforce to gara, so nothing out of the ordenary if someone could pull his body from under the rocks and revive it somehow.

Tobi can have Obito´s eye without being Obito himselfl.

He can be a simple medical rock ninja who extracted Obito's eye from his dead body, healed it and got it inplanted. He doesn´t need to be Obito. Tobi could be a advanced bloodline collector, like: kills his enemy and extracts the bloodlines out.

Well, Tobi I can actually see coming back. Deidara on the other hand I think is really done for regrettably. I don't think such a curious character like Tobi will really be put to waste, but maybe for plot reasons Kishimoto has planned he is needed to be presumed "dead" for now.

Tobi will most likely get away from that somehow, but if he doesn't that just proves he was Tobi and nobody else, just coincidence Kishi had him resembler another character.

I think Tobi will comeback. I mean based on what we know is that "It Looks like Tobi died too." and Kisame apparent surprise that Tobi "wasn't able to outrun that..." I don't know it seems that things are being setup for Tobi to reappear. I mean with Hidan and Kakzuza they were pretty definate in stating that they were killed, whereas with Tobi it's that it looks or seems that Tobi was killed...
